Lynn might struggle to get 30 this time ;-)

Keeps a solid 6, ensuring a strong reserve and should take any pressure off Gilkes so he can just lean and progress, great move from the Sheffield promotion

Injuries and stuff can happen post season , it’s not always on track
-
Could Cook’s back injury be the end of it for him? Been out a month with it already and that was without a spill. Could be more around how serious an injury it is currently, or he’s weighing up what it could manifest into with a crash

Laguta riding this weekend fro Wrocław https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/1066562/zuzel-najnowszy-komunikat-ws-zdrowia-artioma-laguty - use Google chrome to translate

Just watched last nights Eurosport meeting, Riss just looked exactly like Bellego when Sheffield rode there, so tentative going into bend one, I don’t think he’s gonna be the answer to solve Ipswich’s engine room issues away or at Foxhall
-
Away at Wolves (3rd April) 3+2 from 4 rides and Sheffield (25th May) 1 from 2 rides where he was injured again, bonus points don’t count to GSA so it’s 4 from 6 rides giving 0.66666667 per ride giving 2.67 average

Bellego out tonight R/R at number 4 for Sheffield so Ellis, Kerr Howarth and Gilkes can take the rides http://www.sheffield-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3296 -

No Tactical in KO Cup -
Rew was abysmal at Owlerton on Thursday, he’s really struggled anywhere apart from odd good meeting at Foxhall, not really seen what the hype is about him in UK and think if there’s inconsistency in the Perry Bar track he’ll struggle there also

Bellego withdrawn after two rides for Bydgoszcz today with after effects from a crash in Germany on Saturday, imagine that’s R/R for him tomorrow which should strengthen Sheffield based on his last visit to Monmore Green -
Just seen line ups for tomorrows meeting against Wolves in KO Cup as shows Bellego in main body and Howarth at reserve, take it that new averages start with next Premiership League meeting rather than this one due to KO Cup not counting towards rolling average

Does the new averages with Bellego at reserve not come into play for this one and start with the next league match due to KO Cup scores not counting towards rolling average? -
He’s a fair bit behind Gilks IMHO

Sheffield v Ipswich 15th June (A fixture)

Doyle wast gonna get passed Tobi in Ht1, it’s the kerb line or nothing early doors, should have sat behind and protected Hulme, being on a guarantee it’s not like he needed the extra £ by passing Hulme on 4th bend of last lap. The strop in the pits afterwards was quite funny though -

You not seen Doyle then, ultimate at that game right from heat 1, skeletor was at his best tonight with his tantrums -
Seems to be if you’re riding OK for Grudziadz they give you the ‘freedom’ to ride where you want, if you’re not scoring well then you’re grounded and it’s Polska only be that for training or meetings. If they just had this sort of rule for the Poles only you’d sort of have to accept us as PZM/Ekstraliga give out the agreement to ride abroad, but should have no control on the foreigners. Suppose it just shows they pay the £££ they run the show

The races between Musielak, Holder, Sayfutdinov and Doyle should be belters, starting from Ht1 with Musielak and Doyle. Sheffield need to win by more than 4 to get the bonus point, Doyle usually flys around Owlerton and don’t think it’ll take Sayfutdinov long to work out how close he can ride to the air fence so expect big points from those two, Ipswich also have King and Barker who have shown they can get around Owlerton, plus Hulme notched up plenty of points when he wore a Tigers race jacket. Rew should do OK with it being a big track. Think Thompson will be just happy to be back on the bike after the concussion. The home boys all need to fire, don’t think Musielak and Holder will need much geeing up to get big points against there opposite big hitters, Ellis trapped OK last week and also Monday just looks to lock speed especially when he waved through Doyle and Sayfutdinov in races at Foxhall, Kerr will want to improve on his 4 paid 7 from last week, Howarth has hopefully overcome his latest knock so will be needing big points at reserve if the bonus point is to come to Sheffield. Gilkes has improved week on week but does need more laps around Sheffield to work out the lines etc, he’ll be wanting 4 rides and points. Then there’s Bellego, brought in to power score at home which really he’s not done to date to compensate for his absolutely abysmal away scoring, he’ll get a new average after Thursdays meeting, but could it be his last as moves to reserve after this one also which seriously weakens Sheffield away from home. Score? Think Sheffield will get the win and bonus point but it won’t be by much, 49-41 home win
-
Think it will depend also on how much ££ he’s demanding as Brady was flashing the cash at Lynn by all accounts
-
The manager at Grudziadz has said about Jakobsen no longer starting in UK, could be the Polish gettIng wrong end of stick on Sportowefakty site, who knows
-
So Laguta has done his 3 ‘taster’ meetings now riding the 2 tracks he’d only previously ridden before in the UK, wonder when he’ll make the decision whether to continue riding here or not? The £5k a meeting might need to be reworked for the rest of the season if he does as there needs to be other changes to make the team competitive

Witches v Tiger's 12th June
InTheDeepStuff replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Only chance of a Sheffield win is if either Bellego turns up with no brakes on his bars, or if he has to miss the meeting and it’s R/R as a replacement! Holder never really score more 6-9 there, Musielak missed the last meeting there so will take a ride to get dialled in, Ellis not really scored well anywhere away from Owlerton this season, pressure on Kerr and Howarth to score well above their averages to compensate for Bellego’s away lack for scoring in general, as long as Gilkes beats Thompson he’s done his job Doyle and Sayfutdinov will be up there with 26-30 points between them, King needs to get out of his Premiership slump looked like he scored decent points on Friday so needs to transfer that form to Monday, Barker and Hulme are pivotal and need to be beating the Sheffield engine room riders which Hulme did on the last visit, Rew at reserve will no doubt get 5 rides (similar to Howarth) and will need to be 7-10 points to cover the high scoring Sheffield reserves I think Ipswich will get the home win 49-41 (if Bellego is riding) -

Bellego on 5.80, overall team is around 1.22 below the 40.00 limit. So anyone coming in could be up to 7.02 if my maths is right -

Becker looked uncomfortable walking to the changing rooms before the meeting, obviously he’s nowhere near 100% and some of the UK tracks won’t favour carrying that type of injury compared to the flat Continental tracks where there’s less stress on the leg, to be fair though he’s always been inconsistent around Owlerton, could score 2 or 8 don’t think it’s one of his faves -

When Bellego goes to reserve after he does 1 more home league meeting then we are in trouble as he is abysmal away from Owlerton apart from maybe NSS, that will take away the ‘strong’ reserve situation we’ve had so far this season
