It’s a lot of fuss and excitement over nothing really imo. Just pick and choose which meetings you want to see , for your own enjoyment and fix , every now and again. Show them the contempt they show their customers in what after all is a tinpot league where you can be crap most of the season but still come out on top at the end.

Us fans are just customers to them at the end of the day . Same as football really. Although the powers that be in football know they can treat them that way as they know they will keep turning up week in week out. The Glazers at United being a prime example. The powers that be in speedway don’t have that luxury . They’re signing the death warrant to the sport. They’re doing nothing to try and promote a bright future and the dwindling crowd numbers will continue to prove this until the sport disappears for good.

It’s not really hate I don’t think . I think everybody’s opinions come from astonishment, frustration and anger but probably most of all , sadness, at the state our once great and attractive sport has been allowed to decay to this point. A team sport with relevance would involve promotion and relegation in my humble opinion. Meeting’s with jeopardy in them. And teams not dictating to the sport what league they will and won’t ride in. It’s all so amateurish really. Professional in name only. For now.
