If Harry is serious about his love for the sport then what better way to show this by giving it the help and publicity that it would need to get it off the ground.

This needs looking into imo . If proved impossible then okay. Everything is possible these days though. With the right people looking at it a sport with the glorious history of ours may have a chance.

The weather darn sarf in London is decent usually. The catchment area is definitely there. The authorities could publicise it to death, showing old Wembley finals as well as referring to the ‘ local team of yesteryear’ the West Ham Hammers , to appeal to the locals. Grandads might take their grandkids . Get that east end boy Barry Hearn involved. It’s all a dream but the sport needs a big positive to lean towards and that could definitely be it.

The entertainment after every four heats could be interesting 😬

As far as I’m aware , they have already held motorsport events at the stadium. And West Ham could certainly use the extra revenue now that they’re down with the stiffs 😁

The weekend was a success as was last year . Great racing with nobody ever 100% comfortable where they’d finish more or less. As good as it was though, there’s something huge missing now as we are crying out for that showpiece event in this country, hopefully in London. Absolutely no coverage of the weekend anywhere that I could see . In London, who knows, maybe ?

Definitely miss Wembley and the amazing atmosphere there . There’s pluses and minuses to a one off final . It’s a big plus imo. One thing though about Cardiff is that the stadium is right in the city centre, accessible to everything the city has to offer . A weekend in Wembley itself would be a bit different I reckon these days 😬. The day itself though would be amazing.

It was definitely one of the highlights of many a speedway fan’s year. British finals were superb. I used to cheer for KC and Neil Evitts if he was competing. As for the England v USA test matches . Superb racing in carnival atmospheres . Really enjoyed those too.
