  1. Welcome back Jye. If winning at home Is paramount then this makes perfect sense.
  2. Woods bikes didn’t look the best handling wise, they did look to have a lot of power. I think it was morris that ended up doing a heat on woods bike and it was very very quick but did look a handful even with morris on it. Maybe a bit lacking in experience when it comes to setup. I think if he can get the handling right he will stay on it more often. I think dayle did a good job this year and I expect him to do well next year. I would have wanted him back at Berwick before smith who just seemed to go backwards this year.
  3. Dayle did a decent job this year and he is improving.
  4. As a bandits supporter I can’t disagree. I’m not sure how he would even get back into a team with his record now.
  5. I like cook when he is on the bike I was disappointed this year as he was really good to watch when he did show up at Berwick. I hope whatever his reasons have been. He can overcome the issues and get back at it because he is a class rider.
  6. He has been putting in a lot of time in the gym, looks very healthy. Could be a master stroke if his head is back in the game. I’m not sure I can see anyone taking the risk though.
  7. As well liked as danyon is he needs to be 100% fit or left out and I really don’t understand wanting smith back he was useless most of the season and I don’t see any prospect of him improving I’d much rather a youngster at 2 points, someone who has a chance of putting a point or two on their average unlike smith who went backwards this year
  8. This is why I don’t try and guess the team. Didn’t see that coming.
  9. And in one post you have encapsulated the sentiment of one family. My dad, his two sons( I’m one) his four grandchildren. We have an evening together. Cheap burgers and chips. The smell the sound. The joy or disappointment win or loose we go and enjoy ourselves. Entertainment and a place to be together matters. winning would be nice but the sport we all connect though matters more.
  10. Bens a good rider and a good guy but kemp is young and on the up he has improved drastically over the last two years. Ben would be good in the middle order but kemp has proven he has the potential to be number 1. With a little bit of an attitude adjustment he really could be very good but that could be said for a few of the riders that were at Berwick in 25. That’s probably a different discussion though.
  11. I think it’s either us or Oxford. And I suspect Oxford make more sense with the Latvia ride but I do hope im wrong. I’m unsure of who could fill that void unless it’s someone who isn’t currently in the championship.
  12. Good team I’m still dubious about Kemp I’d really like to see him back but he has deleted all but 5 posts on instagram. All of his bandits posts are gone. Who knows what the plans are. I think lambert would be a great singing at reserve for us and Max Perry was the star of the show on Glasgows last visit to Berwick so should do very well at home.
  13. I think Berwick did an excellent job putting together the team they ended up with. Injuries and being let down had the bandits backs to the wall from before the start of the season. We might not have made the playoffs but the promotion and management put together an exciting and entertaining team that I and the other fans in the stands that I spoke to enjoyed watching.
  14. Howarth but Id be very surprised if he isn’t back at Glasgow. also he has a polish ride next year so pretty much no chance of that.
  15. Great news. On his average I can imagine he had plenty of opportunities. Well done Berwick.
  16. Berwick have updated their Facebook cover photo with a picture of PK. Has to be a good sign.
  17. Seems the post was just an odd way of announcing he is retaining his mechanic
  18. I think the Harris to pila thing was a joke post that was going around as it had him joining their academy. I can’t speak or read polish but it looks like they have announced the full senior team and Harris isn’t in it.
  19. I agree. I get the whole game is up in the air but I think a congratulations to PK and thank you toJeppesen would be appropriate. It doesn’t need to be much but something would be nice.
  20. It’s all very quiet on the bandits front. Nothing on social media, the last post on the website was “part one” then nothing. “The dirt extra” which I really enjoy hasn’t had a new post since before the start of this past season. Oxford congratulated PK on his wedding, nothing from Berwick. I’m not expecting groundbreaking news but maybe a little interaction with fans wouldn’t go a miss.
  21. I know his average didn’t fit at reserve but I’m quite convinced he would have scored more than smith. I know it’s a cut throat game but I feel he deserved more of a chance.
  22. 3 proper heat leaders, depth in the middle and a proper reserve that can ride Shielfield. And a 2 pointer that will score 2 points. I’d happily pay my money to watch that team.
  23. That team would be very difficult to beat at home and imo in with a good chance of picking up some away wins.
  24. I’m not sure Smith belongs in the main body of any team next season. He really struggled at reserve for us this year. I think his head got the better of him. You could see the frustration when things didn’t go his way he then came out and tried too hard and over rode the bike. I honestly think he has the ability but the pressure got to him and I don’t think he’d manage in the main body especially at Glasgow.
  25. YeOldPitGate not sure how I ended up involving you in that last post, one day I might actually learn how to work my phone 🤣
