  1. Correct, and the guy on pro boards that seemed to want Nick banned for life might want to consider how Reid ended up with fractured vertebrae.
  2. i still can’t disagree with that but is there not a rule saying no changes past a certain point? Are we past that? And even if we can, who? Then even if someone could be found it’s a stick or twist situation. Victor hasn’t been a great signing over all. But after the last two day is it possibly better the devil you know?
  3. I agree unfortunately highly unlikely to win there. Our game plan from now should be unbeaten at home and 100% commitment for as close a score at Plymouth as possible. There’s also still the massive outside chance of progression past Redcar but thats a huge task.
  4. I have been critical of VP for a while but this loss isn’t on him, he did a good job last night and scored his average today. Have to give credit where it’s due. No one rider lost it today. I’ve no idea what needs to happen to get an away win. But we desperately need at least one.
  5. Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory there. VP started out well this season but he is unfortunately costing us now. If there’s any ambition beyond what has already been achieved I agree, time for a change. Biggest problem could be where do you magic up a third heat leader from? I will add Victor is brilliant with the fans. Especially the youngsters and he is a good rider, I don’t think the massive gap in the fixtures did him any favours though.
  6. Glad someone caught this before he had another off. That could have ended very differently. Wishing Jordan a speedy recovery. Could be doing with some guests for the away matches. Might be difficult with short notice and a lot of meetings on this weekend. R/R could work ok at home on Saturday.
  7. I didn’t criticise anything. I simply replied to your comment. Also Berwick don’t own the stadium, but have improved it.
  8. What exactly would you like Berwick to do short of cutting seats from the stands or chopping bits off football pitch that without there would be no stadium. The corners were widened but with such narrow straights the capabilities of the stadium are limited. The track prep has been impressive this year especially with the aforementioned football teams regularly playing on a Saturday.
  9. surely Cook is unemployable at this point. As good as he is. He has proven time and time again to be a complete liability. If he couldn’t turn up to his home track, the team he openly wanted to be in. What’s the chance he will turn up for Glasgow?
  10. If Jonas fits he would be a good replacement. I’m still surprised he hasn’t had a permanent premiership place this season. He is fast and knows how to overtake. I really enjoyed watching him at Berwick last year. And he has been doing very well as a comet this year.
  11. I’ve never mentioned Lawson and I thought I’d made it quite clear I’d hold the same opinion regardless of team. Narcissism seems to be creeping in to this match thread. Not everyone is out to get Poole.
  12. I thought it was a thread about a meeting between Poole and Berwick. And my opinion on that topic was one team shouldn’t be allowed a guest in this and other meetings. Clearly I’ve misunderstood.
  13. I do blame the rules. And I’m also fairly confident in this instance I brought this up and it’s been Poole supporters including you who have replied. So not really a lot of discussion.
  14. I’m quite sure that if I’d been sacked I’d be trying to spin it in my favour also. I’m not really having a go at Poole or Bowes. It’s the grey or completely missing areas in the rules. It’s crackers that any team can just boot a rider, legitimately or not and rely on much better guests. Two weeks of R/R then employ someone regardless. There’s loads of riders who would jump at an opportunity like that.
  15. To everyone else it just looks like an underperforming rider has been given the boot so guests who will preform better can be used. Poole could bring in a ndl rider and guide and develop them. But that’s not there way.
  16. I agree with that. Also I don’t think they should be able to have a guest in for Bowes. They got rid with out a replacement lined up and seemingly just going to use guests for the foreseeable. There’s plenty of riders out there. Maybe on lesser averages but they should have someone in that place.
  17. I don’t know what the issue was but they also won’t have needed the flood lights for a football match in the middle of the day. I think it’s a bit silly of anyone to suggest it was anything other than a honest, uncontrollable issue.
  18. Stewart certainly knows way more than me. I just hope we get Tofts best effort. I will be delighted if he proves me wrong.
  19. Mpt in for Jye at Plymouth. Not sure about that one maybe R/R would be a better bet.
  20. He is the Poole spear head, regardless if is affects poole’s fixtures which it has ( Poole v Berwick) the suggestion of uncertainty is cast on all his clubs. I’d very much argue that it warrants a mention on both the championship and Poole sections of this public forum.
  21. I was under the impression they helped all riders injured while riding in Britain. I’m quite sure Greg Hancock recently said they helped him they have also helped countless foreign riders as far as I’m aware.
  22. That was more like it. Hopefully Jye’s elbow is ok.
  23. Well. Congratulations to Redcar. Everything went wrong for us and we were completely out ridden. What a difference a week makes.
  24. I was going to come down for this one but apparently I’m babysitting my granddaughters. I hope they enjoy watching live streamed speedway.
