  1. This track and next one are not great for Bart but after Prague he should be able kick on then !
  2. Can't agree about Bart just marvel at his skill and speed always feel Doyle is just a bully !
  3. We must be watching different rider Bart is already one of the greatest riders this sport has seen !
  4. Can't agree Bart is reckless but spot on about him being genius on a bike Doyle has been reckless for most of his career IMO
  5. Maybe because Fricke was passed by one of the greatest riders the sport has ever seen !
  6. From talking to older riders one of the main problems with full face helmets was misting/steaming up ,also having enough tear offs they also used it those days what we called "flickers".These held one or two pieces of plastic lense that flicked up level with the helmet peak, one other big factor was being filled in( they rode on wet tracks in the past) you can't get the goggles out of the F/F helmet but could pull the mask down.
  7. IMO this is his time I think that unless he is injured he will be the one to beat for few years to come Doyle fell off trying to stop him and paid the price ,to beat Bart most riders have to go beyound their comfort zone this was a perfect example .
  8. Spotted Speedy Pete Jarman !
  9. Can't agree with that we will never know, IMO Bart would still have won Doyle fell off all by himself he appears on the edge of doing so to me a lot of the time bucking and rearing in most of his races .
  10. IMO Morris is not the man for the job but his face seems to fit ,it needs someone with fresh eyes and business background and of indepentent status he's far from that .
  11. Great to see but I suspect this will be his last season as a rider ,just hope he gets to the end of it in one piece .
  12. IMO the thing about Monmore is that you need to have patience plus skill to pass( PK being one of the finest examples ) not just the biggest balls a fast motor with the throttle held to the stop for four laps .In the past riders came to the UK to ride the smaller tracks to gain the experience to make them a more complete rider .
  13. So he should be no one can deny his ability but his manners leave a lot to be desired
  14. Scott will be 45 yrs old in May good luck to him I say we should make the most of him while we can , every match at his age is a bonus and he is doing the business as well .
  15. I don't begrudge Scott having what is probable to be his last season as a rider picking up a few PL rides ,he has been a great servant to British s/way
  16. If the 10yr rule was stuck to rigidly today there wouldn't be any riders who would qualify because of the nomadic nature of the sport in this country .
  17. IMO as has been said the novelty of these riders will wear off and with it the uplift in attendances they bring ,it's the product that needs a permanent boost perhaps Morris( not a fan ) may just be able to get the PL to change and make it more appealing to a new fan base .
  18. Is this not how the old Nl operated a mixture of journeymen( with outside jobs ) ,old -hands and young riders who either sink or swim normally within about two seasons .
  19. I do feel the the NL and Gulf leagues of the 70's were better balanced than today's but maybe it's "rose tinted glasses " I am looking back through !
  20. IMO the main reason for this is we are watching in the current world champ one of the greatest riders the sport has ever seen , barring injury he will continue dominate for a number of years to come . Back on topic I am not a fan of Morris but his face obviously fits !
