  1. Yep yr right, it is old fashioned. I never recalled any gardening in the early 70's and 80's, so why now ?
  2. Riders will really need to be on there toes this year, as referees will exclud those who garden and get off there bikes. Its down to the team managers to ensure that riders are well aware of this ruling.
  3. It was a shame he was dropped, but the injury took a while to heal, again just bad luck. A season away from poole will do him good. Matt doesnt close doors, never say never.
  4. Doyley had potential, and he foud it after all his problems, Kyle would have reached that figure had he not had his problems , much is down to money and equipment, and how a person reacts to injuries. just remember, Kyle is lucky to be alive.. A year away from poole and an injury free season will do him the world of good.
  5. One meeting out of umpteen, i wont be losing any sleep if, we lose up there..
  6. Mate, you are forgetting, injuries take there toll, and like many horses that get bad, legs, holes in tendons, and are off the course for 18 mths 2 years in some cases they are never the same. We saw him every week, and take it from me, he would have been attaining that average had he not had umpteen problems and nearly died through sepsis.
  7. I will be very suprised if we dont get beat round monmore, its a specialist track, very technical, we have several new boys in the side and maybe, a couple that aledgedly, dont ride it well, and a track like wolves will b alian to them, but thats one meeting out of umpteen, so i wont be losing any sleep over it.
  8. Kyle never reached his potential due to the amount of injuries he had, including sepsis which nearly killed him due to an injury. Had he not had them he would be attaining around a 7.50 average by now.
  9. As far as im aware, Wolves can only use the track on stipulated days due to the dogs like us. Im sure a Wolves fan can confirm this If Matt has agreed then thats fine. But if Wolves have done this off there own backs without prior agreement with Matt then that is wrong.
  10. My point is, if Matt has mutually agreed with Wolves then fine. But if Wolves have done it off there own backs then thats wrong. And you know that for sure do you ?
  11. Wolves have changed there P&P day to the same day as the meeting, and posponed the meeting, they cannot do that. Nothing to do with the track nor conditions. Im sure you lot wouldnt complain if they did the same to you ???
  12. Jack has the POTENTIAL, to be a good rider but like Kyle Newman, he has to stay clear of injuries, thats what stopped Kyles progression.
  13. Steve Arthurs post was tongue in cheek mate, in reply to Stevebrums post. Surely that is not right, you cannot postpone a league meeting in place of a P&P day. Thats not right.
  14. Because its on the same day as a re arranged P&P. surely you are not allowed to do the. The BSPA must step in. Surely Wolves should be punished for this.
  15. Yes he can quite right. A fit and focused Chris Holder can do an awful lot better and still shake up the GP series, even at his age. I mean, look at Greg.
  16. Very sad this. Really nice bloke, good photographer. RIP mate.
  17. No, i dont think he will be that good. But he should turn out a useful rider. If he stays sound.
  18. I doubt if Chris will go down mate. If he cannot increase that 7.16 average i will be very suprised. Chris is really good, form is temperary class is permanant, he's not be a world champion by being average. And nobody wants injuries, he's had his fair share of those in the last few years. Talking to brick walls springs to mind ! could have finished his career, then you had poorDarcys unfortunate accident, that took the wind out of his sails, like it did everybody, and that was on top of his own problems. I would not have been suprised had he retired there and then. As i said, Chris was fine last weds, had a spring in his step and was the first out on the track. Its good to see him back home, and i for one hope he has a good season.
  19. Ah but Keith, you forget, he's the voice of Somerset, he knows everything...
  20. You could never afford Chris. in fact no british club could afford to lash out 25 k for a rider nowadays, Give it up. your now clutching at straws. You've been told, several times, you got Doyley give it up.
  21. Thankyou. The senerio is perhaps they will both be at Poole next season. Its a good track for jack to go to, it will give him plenty of experience riding a bigger track week in week out where you can open the throttle a bit. Plymouth was a good learning curve for him on a tight track. He will improve for the experience. Riding the likes of Wolves will give him something to think about.
  22. Thats a superb effort from everybody. Sadly, 99 times out of 100 the Develops get there way.I wouild like to think this will not be the case.
  23. There you go. Problem solved. So i dont know why Naijers getting in a tizzy.
  24. Just to think, had other clubs put decent prices on there riders Somerset would be able to afford them as well. But Nailer seems to think its Somersets perogatitve to sign Chris. Er, it doesnt work like that, honest.
  25. He's signed for poole. get over it.
