Thanks mate, see you tomorrow night.

Hi Glyn, yes it held up well, it did cut up a little bit but you would expect that with the weather we have had. It was a little patchy going round turn one, and little spongy in places, again i would assume that is down to the weather. Neil watered it and rolled it well, but as you know you dont want to drown it for practice just enough. Turn 4 was very good riders going it smooth. As you say once we get a settled period, and after tomorrow nights meeting we have nothing for a complete week, hopefully it will remain reasonably dry then when you do the finishing touches it will be great. See you soon. Mike.

Well done Steve, great footage. Im sure Speedway-portal will also have there's up on our home site very soon.

Ok lets get into this. Everybody had a good practice, all the new boys did plenty of laps, and once they tinkered with the set ups they were all going well, they were all happy with the track. Chris has to do what he has to do, and nobody should look to deeply into it. He's Poole, and wants to be here. Everything is set, fridays meeting should go ahead. Hopefully Brady will be ok after his little tumble. When we start the league campaign you can gurrantee the boys and Matt and Neil will not be complacent. I have to thank everybody who came up shook my hand and asked after my well being to night it was very very humbling, as i told everybody, im progressing slowly although i am still a little apprehensive and will be doing everything by the book and it will be the same for a while untill i know the hole where the bone was put back has healed. The big MRI scan i had last week came back CLEAR, there was a little bit of a stewards, as i filled the check list in and put no every answer, one was do i have and metal in my body, the Radiographer had the forsight to ring Soton Neuro due to the nature of my op, they confirmed to him i had METAL pins holding the bone together on my skull. They did a CT scan first to confim the metal was MRI friendly, which they were, as many people have metal rods and splints put in there bodys, so it has to be MRI friendly, that is a massive relief that it came back clear, confirmed by my GP who had the results and the scan in front of him. Now it has to be worked out what they want to do with the fluid on the right side of my face, they will either put a shunt in to drain it or let it drain of its own accord, i will take the advice of my Surgeon when i see him in April, but i would prefere the latter. I was so pleased and greatful to be there tonight knowing things could have been so different, Im determined to keep going forward, and looking towards October !! I also want to thank Mr X for running me home tonight, much appreciated.

You'l be eating your words old son..
-
We were talking about one rule, not umpteen.. I rest my case.
-
Yep that joke has already done the rounds. Seriously, it true, it does disavantage them. They will just have to tilt the bike to the left and the right, not easy i might add.
-
So the rule HAS changed this season. All riders MUST, be astride there bikes, no rider is to get off the bike and Garden. Last year a rider could get off his bike providing they still had contact with the bike, naturally, otherwise you would have riderless speedway..
-
Well you had better ring the BSPA then, and make your complaint.
-
Yep yr right, it is old fashioned. I never recalled any gardening in the early 70's and 80's, so why now ?
-
Riders will really need to be on there toes this year, as referees will exclud those who garden and get off there bikes. Its down to the team managers to ensure that riders are well aware of this ruling.
-
It was a shame he was dropped, but the injury took a while to heal, again just bad luck. A season away from poole will do him good. Matt doesnt close doors, never say never.
-
Doyley had potential, and he foud it after all his problems, Kyle would have reached that figure had he not had his problems , much is down to money and equipment, and how a person reacts to injuries. just remember, Kyle is lucky to be alive.. A year away from poole and an injury free season will do him the world of good.
-
One meeting out of umpteen, i wont be losing any sleep if, we lose up there..
-
Mate, you are forgetting, injuries take there toll, and like many horses that get bad, legs, holes in tendons, and are off the course for 18 mths 2 years in some cases they are never the same. We saw him every week, and take it from me, he would have been attaining that average had he not had umpteen problems and nearly died through sepsis.
-
I will be very suprised if we dont get beat round monmore, its a specialist track, very technical, we have several new boys in the side and maybe, a couple that aledgedly, dont ride it well, and a track like wolves will b alian to them, but thats one meeting out of umpteen, so i wont be losing any sleep over it.
-
Kyle never reached his potential due to the amount of injuries he had, including sepsis which nearly killed him due to an injury. Had he not had them he would be attaining around a 7.50 average by now.
-
As far as im aware, Wolves can only use the track on stipulated days due to the dogs like us. Im sure a Wolves fan can confirm this If Matt has agreed then thats fine. But if Wolves have done this off there own backs without prior agreement with Matt then that is wrong.
-
My point is, if Matt has mutually agreed with Wolves then fine. But if Wolves have done it off there own backs then thats wrong. And you know that for sure do you ?
-
Wolves have changed there P&P day to the same day as the meeting, and posponed the meeting, they cannot do that. Nothing to do with the track nor conditions. Im sure you lot wouldnt complain if they did the same to you ???
-
Jack has the POTENTIAL, to be a good rider but like Kyle Newman, he has to stay clear of injuries, thats what stopped Kyles progression.
-
Steve Arthurs post was tongue in cheek mate, in reply to Stevebrums post. Surely that is not right, you cannot postpone a league meeting in place of a P&P day. Thats not right.
-
Because its on the same day as a re arranged P&P. surely you are not allowed to do the. The BSPA must step in. Surely Wolves should be punished for this.
-
Yes he can quite right. A fit and focused Chris Holder can do an awful lot better and still shake up the GP series, even at his age. I mean, look at Greg.
-
Very sad this. Really nice bloke, good photographer. RIP mate.
