I totally agree with all the above, and very unfair on the smaller statuared riders. I was talking to little Norman Strachan last week about this subject, he is smaller than all the present riders, and even he was suprised this was brought in. Good on the powers that be to see a little sense.

You have no proof of that, making accusations like that are not good. Again, Matt runs Poole how he see's fit, how other promotions run there clubs is up to them, and if anything wasnt right the BSPA certainly wouldnt sanction it. Funny how you say the last ten years or more, how many league titles is it ? Ang on you have to use two hands..

Please, dont lose any sleep mate, Pooles season ticket sales are way up this season on previous seasons, but i guess you forgot tha bit..

You've all got your opinions, i have mine, if you dont like them please do not quote my post.Poole Keith, my post was not insulting towards Somerset, ive been there a lot, and i admire what Bill Debbie and Gary have done there and built it from scratch the track is also very simular to Poole, but wider, Matt has done very well at Poole as you well know, and we are a big club and thats where i make the term. Perhaps i should have put that in my original post and underlined it.., But you and others would still pick out something to have a pop at, no matter how small. Again you would all like word for word, no abreiviations, but you should be able to read between the lines. Gary would do the same at Somerset if he could, make no bones about that as i said, he also takes a leaf out of Matts book, and as i also said, he's a very shrewd manager. As i also said, and you failed to acknowledge, i was very suprised that they didnt win more titles in the championship, and i was there when they won there titles, and was over the moon for Bill Debbie and Gary, Gary also works hard to put together a side. But again, like a lot of posters on here you read what you want to read.And being a poole fan, you seem very uptight. Perhaps you are not a fan of Matt either.

Lets hope that the only bit of bad luck Kyle gets this season, he needs a clear injury free season that will help his cause and form no end.

Good post Steve. To give you an example, Matt spoke at Somerset the other season, and he was a big man in a small place. No disrespect to Debbie Bill and Gary who have done a superb job with the set up, and Gary is a very sherwd manager, he also takes leafs out of Matts book and im really suprised they did not win more league titles in the championship, but where ever Matt went he would be successful, because he's driven that way, he wants to win, as a fan, im the same, i want to win, nobody remembers 2nd, yes you cannot win all the time, but Matt i know will not stand still in his Quest for more success But, it would take its toll, its not an easy job far from it. Matt stated in the Echo a while ago he's let the club down, no he hasnt, but its very hard to stay at the top. Matts working while other promoters are kipping...

But it never said 4-6 wks, so you are guessing. Thats not in print. Best wait and see what happens eh..

Nevermind mate, if other promoters had the same foresight years ago they could have done the same. No excuses.. Matt uses what he feels is right for the team at the time.. nothing wrong with that either.. Oh, and he never stands still. Where's a lot of promotions dont even move. other clubs fans should be having a go at there said promoters, not Matt.

What good teams are them then. As i said, if everybody turns up we will win this over two legs on a tight riene. But, we will not be complacent about it. Thats not Neil or Matts way. We all know Gary will have his boys up for this, and we are well aware of that..
