  1. Steve, the club will take nothing, for granted, and the riders will know whats required of them, there will be no complacency in the camp, believe me..
  2. Steve ignore them mate. The Poole bashers will really have something to moan about in October and right through the Winter..
  3. You are correct i didnt see your post, but yes you are right..
  4. Its a jumper not a flat horse. Flat horses come out of Starting stalls, jumpers have tape start. Hope that helps mate.
  5. Kickboards painted and Shale. You know what i meant. Put yourself in my shoes mate, you might make a word mistake or two as well.
  6. Thing is Ray, its also a posibillity that Matts rent has gone up, the you have your insurances ie public liabillity which would not be cheep etc. then you have your general outgoings ie track maintenance airfence replacements and repairs kickboards replaced and painted shale then you have st johns to pay for the season Electrical work. then the riders want paying the list goes on. Sadly it all adds up. Thats why sponsorship is so important nowadays. But every other club will be in the same boat. Well no, because Matt would probably shove them out... Get out of my boat, Gordon Pairman is trying to fish..
  7. Yeh they have been good to our riders since there return to British speedway. Long may it continue.
  8. Eh, none i would say.. I just hope, next Weds doesnt go the same way.
  9. Didnt handle the ground and trip. The ground was heavy and the times backed that up.
  10. Mate permission was asked to Name the horse Darcy ward. I know the owner very well.
  11. Steve its clearly been raining in Poole all night and still raining now. Right decision was made.
  12. Steve, according to the forcast for Highbridge they will have rain from 1300 hrs onwards. And poole showers from 1300 to 1400 hrs then persistant rain.
  13. Ok, thanks for your reply Wolfie. Lets have every clubs, premeir for now full admission prices for comparison.
  14. Not unless you have a dry day with a drying wind. And with the forcast as it is its the right call, it wouldnt be very good had Somersets fans travelled down the n was told its off.Glyn did well last week under the circumstances, and as i said, by 3.30 ish that track was very raceable, but then it P'd down and that was that. and continued to rain all evening.
  15. I can believe it. I will have some on Weds, if we are on, but they will be in the club shop. I will be just taking 15 of next weeks or so round and once they have gone i'l go and get a few more, for the time being, thats how i will have to work. I cant carry to much.
  16. No i dont think it is Steve, the forcast is dire, and with the amount of rain we've had and with the forcast as it is its the right call. I would be suprised if Somerset is also on.
  17. Yeh they will be Ray, quite right. Again we have a dam rain off meeting when the bumper issue comes out this week. I hate this British weather.
