  1. Certainly wasn't what I was told, clearly a majority wanted it.
  2. Must be honest I am expecting a Glasgow win, Barker got a full 18 max last year for Panthers
  3. If the changes go through and going forward just the one against Berwick in July, although that's just Friday's affecting Cook.
  4. They will be disappointed if he has, riding at Glasgow in a British SF meeting.
  5. Your fortunate in owning your own stadium that's rare in speedway., we unfortunately can only have dates that are free from events which is why we use different race days, we don't have enough Friday's or Sunday's available generally to do the whole season. Most of the Rye complaints are about your team, different race nights I can live with if we have a competitive team.
  6. I was under the impression the only massive gulfs in British Speedway were between the ears of Starman and Morrisey Fan
  7. What you mean like Rye House this year, Saturday's, Sunday's and Monday's Leagues need regular race nights not clubs, it would solve a lot of the D/U and Guest issues overnight.
  8. Unfortunately I don't think many riders full stop are motivated by anything other than money.
  9. I rather think Sunday afternoons have been generally better attended so far than Friday evenings, Sunday's are certainly more family friendly and generally offer the travelling fans time to get home at a reasonable hour. Now the weather has improved attendances should improve and no problem with double uppers either, the only practical negative is if it's really hot it's difficult to keep the track in good condition and properly damp but our track team did a great job last week.
  10. How about making it simple 3 points for a win 1 point for a draw 0 points if you lose Why does British Speedway have to be so complicated
  11. BSPA Twitter confirming Cook has been allowed to join Peterborough, official statement to follow
  12. Perry I am told goes into the top 5 from the 15th
  13. Good meeting, good racing and plenty of entertainment, best match on sky so far this year. I think the world and his brother would sooner have anyone n the Mic other than York, certainly didn't look a very good crowd, stand looked empty.
  14. PLC group matches count towards GSA, it's only SF and the final matches that don't.
  15. Basically because up until this morning it was still going ahead at 7.30pm, logistics of the MCN event packing up has caused the postponement.
  16. It remains to be seen if this new chairman makes any difference or major changes, nothing exactly earth shattering so far. Not holding my breath.
  17. Crikey I thought my lot were bad last week but this result is dreadful.
  18. Certainly was a good meeting even if the track was somewhat slicker than most would like. Some good racing with both teams going for it and Panthers deservedly coming out on top. Hansen should get a mention for a great guest performance and it was nice to see Grondal, MPT and Lambert all amongst the points.
  19. It's certainly going to be difficult to keep it properly watered, never easy on days like this.
  20. It's all about interpretations and let's be fair this is just another one
