  1. Any weather updates Sheffield way as I am intending to go to this.
  2. The 2015 regulations mentioned the no TR I n the semi finals and final section and everybody understood that it only applied to 2 leg aggregate matches. The current regulations have changed that and it's quite clear that the rules now say no TR in ANY PLC fixture. The fact that someone else on the MC clearly decided otherwise changes nothing, the rules say no TR, so perhaps the SCB will now do the right thing and amend the result of Scunthorpe v Sheffield match. To be honest I am not expecting anything to be done as the SCB are about as efficient as a chocolate teapot but we live in hope of a concise, well written and fair rulebook and a governing body able to properly enforce it.
  3. Exactly That's been required for at least a decade, still waiting.
  4. The online 2016 version has been available for a week or two from the SCB website under downloads
  5. 18.2 Premier League Cup 18.2.4 The heat format for the meetings are as per Art 18.9.1 The TR facility is not applicable.
  6. Panthers get their season started with an opening Friday night PLC clash against the Scorpions, Klindt rides for Leicester so they are missing one Showground specialist. Expected Teams Peterborough - Ostergaard, Jakobsen, Porsing, Palm Toft, Lambert, Grondal & Perry. Scunthorpe - Auty, Holub, Douglas, Davies, Guest or R/R, Wilkinson & Bailey.
  7. To be fair that was my understanding and the change to the PLC rules this year where the ""TR are not allowed" was moved from 18.2.3 semi finals and final to 18.2.4 which lists the heat format and no TR just seems to confirm it. It's written exactly the same in the KOC which of course doesn't have TR at all. It's yet another complete balls up with regards to the rules.
  8. If you check the 2016 regs against the 2015 version it's even more clear that it's been changed this year to include all of the PLC and not just the SF,s and Final. Unfortunately as has been explained to me several times the sections 16, 17 and 18 are under BSPA Control and not the SCB.
  9. The whole rulebook is poorly written that's why most of the people who use do not understand it and ask for clarification, including referees.
  10. As I said earlier thats certainly not as it reads, and I was certainly under the impression the rules had changed this year so no TR in the PLC as per the KOC. Just out of interest who clarified the ruling today.
  11. Certainly doesn't read that way in the 2016 regulations which are a change to the 2015 regs in that it's now worded as per the KOC. I was under the impression this was changed at last years AGM and TR were only allowed in league matches.
  12. I think that's spot on, its well known Cook hates losing at home so has built a team around Lakeside track specialists. It could well work against most of the EL sides but it will be interesting to see how they get on against Poole and Belle Vue. I don't see them doing much on the road but you can't have it both ways. Swiderski, Nilsson and Mear got paid 34 at Lakeside In the afternoon but just paid 10 at Lynn a few hours later.
  13. The difference being Coventry and Swindon have at least a chance of finishing in the top 3, fair wind - you will need a miracle and probably more than one.
  14. This sport has never been even, Poole unless struck down by injuries will walk the league this year.
  15. Always a great read I love Jon Cooks appraisal as to where he thinks Lakeside will finish - 1st PMSL
  16. Sorted today Peterborough v Ipswich PLC now Sunday 22nd May Peterborough v Ipswich PL now BH Monday 30th May @8.00pm. 8pm start time to allow Ipswich & Peterborough riders enough travel time as they have afternoon matches elsewhere.
  17. Trouble is Kerr's 2.5% reduction isn't in the rulebook but 16.2.6 is, which is why the referee, Ritchie Hawkins and you should have paid more attention to PL GSA issue 1 which came out Friday afternoon. Kerr's starting 2016 PL GSA is 6.85 and not 7.03. All the best Bigcatdiary
  18. I rather suspect that Kerr gets a discount (shown as 6.85 on the 2016 PL teams BSF) but then the BSPA haven't issued starting GSA yet so the averages you mention above are 2015 final PL GSA, which is all any of the programme compilers can work to at the moment. If however Morten is fourth in the averages it is of course much worse.
  19. Mortens third in the Ipswich GSA so his rides can be taken by Covatti and Kerr and two others' I agree though that it leaves the Witches exposed.
