  1. Changed for this year Reserves or another eligible rider In the right circumstances that could be anyone else, doesn't make a lot of sense but then that's our rulebook
  2. Another rule change from last year A rider committing a starting offence can be replaced by a reserve or another qualified rider.
  3. Unfortunately despite a lot of talk and a few PR it's been the same old same old BSPA with nothing really changing. BV opening night, the EDR averages cock up followed by the Cook and Hall decisions. We will see what the winter brings but I am not holding my breath.
  4. No the main problem is Leicester riding home matches on Saturdays, which means they are seriously hampered by the availability of riders wanting to ride in the EL who are involved with GP,s and FIM meetings etc. If they rode midweek the situation would improve, providing of course Leicester pay the appropriate rates. Poles being recalled by their Polish Club has been a problem for years but until riders put two fingers up to these clubs nothing will change although the problem isn't as common as it once was. If Hemsley was as bright as people say he would have realised this years ago, Saturday nights are for PL only.
  5. Not complicated, Are you serious, Perhaps you would like to explain how so many Promoters, team managers and even referees get it wrong on a weekly basis. It's a complete crock of s--t.
  6. Okay perhaps classics was a bit over the top but both meetings were good to watch with good racing and they were very entertaining. I would much sooner watch that than a 60-30 drubbing every week but I suppose it's personal taste. Interesting that some of the Ipswich comments were they were not bothered about losing, their was more than the odd comment made about King sitting on the track after crashing in heat 15 whilst the rain poured down hoping that the referee would call it their and then. Glad to see he wasn't hurt though that would have took much of the gloss off a good comeback.
  7. Interesting fact that this match and the last one against Sheffield were both raced on what is accepted were fairly slick Alwalton tracks and both matches have been classics.
  8. Well for a nothing match that wasn't half bad entertainment, Witches were good early doors but Panthers clawed it all back with the lead changing hands several times towards the end. Glad to see King wasn't hurt after his heat 15 spill and was told machinery problems were Ostergaards and Grondals problem. Cook rides next week in the PL fixture, that's why it's an 8.00pm start, to allow him King and Sargeant time to get from Belle Vue,s midday match against Coventry to Peterborough.
  9. Well I suppose it's what you are used to. As long as you are happy with it, once or twice a season is more than enough for me.
  10. I have been going to Rye since it opened and didn't notice it was any better this year than in previous years. Dusty, super slick and one line right next to the fence.
  11. That's not something you see often in the same sentence, Rye House and Proper Speedway.
  12. The club have said they are hopeful he will be back for BH Mondays meetings.
  13. Hopefully the weather stays OK as Craig Cook makes his debut for the Panthers. Peterborough use RR for Perry and Hansen guests in place of the injured Jakobsen, not sure I agree with Hawkins that Panthers are weakened, it's looks a pretty good line up to me.
  14. To be fair Perry,s been one of our stars this year and full credit to him. He has been one of the best no 7's in the PL so far
  15. No I meant if a team re declares and drops its original no 7 he can only be replaced by another 3.00 irrespective of his current GSA. Whilst Perry is out and in the 1-5 it's RR with all riders below and one above his GSA taking his rides.
  16. I was informed no 7,s will move up into the teams top five if their average demands it but replacing an original no 7 can only be done with another 3.00 NL rider irrespective of his latest GSA.
  17. No, Perry is above Grondal in the GSA so it's Jakobsen/Hansen, Grondal, Lambert & Stokes although Lambert could indeed take 2 RR rides. Hansen assumes the average of the rider he replaces.
  18. After a slow start it really came alive, excellent entertainment and a Woffy win as well. Some very good racing tonight and what appeared to be a very good crowd.
