And next week the GP circus rolls into Cardiff, all the top riders, entertainment, fan zones, razzmatazz and the turnout from the supporters, numbers of which the BSPA can only dream about.

Whilst I don't doubt that some fault for the circumstances could be attributed to both clubs the fact remains that this whole situation does nothing for the credibility of the EL, which is at deaths door as it is. As a spectacle it won't attract many Poole fans to attend (if any) and won't attract many passing fans either, so it's likely to be a poor attendance and with Poole basically being pretty weakened it's looking like a big payday for the Lakeside team which then impacts on the wages bill for Jon Cook. Remind me who wins in this situation.

I see an amalgamation of the leagues has been mentioned a few times but people should bear in mind half the PL currently ride in the EL now so where are the extra riders coming from?. I still think if the leagues ride on different nights and anyone can double up or down irrespective of average would solve a lot of the current problems.
