  1. PLC group matches count towards GSA, it's only SF and the final matches that don't.
  2. Basically because up until this morning it was still going ahead at 7.30pm, logistics of the MCN event packing up has caused the postponement.
  3. It remains to be seen if this new chairman makes any difference or major changes, nothing exactly earth shattering so far. Not holding my breath.
  4. Crikey I thought my lot were bad last week but this result is dreadful.
  5. Certainly was a good meeting even if the track was somewhat slicker than most would like. Some good racing with both teams going for it and Panthers deservedly coming out on top. Hansen should get a mention for a great guest performance and it was nice to see Grondal, MPT and Lambert all amongst the points.
  6. It's certainly going to be difficult to keep it properly watered, never easy on days like this.
  7. It's all about interpretations and let's be fair this is just another one
  8. Well you have certainly done well with our no 1 from last year, remind me how many matches has he missed so far this year.
  9. That's an excellent point and upon checking the GSA for both teams he was in both teams starting team declaration for this year. As some others have said it sets a precedent.
  10. The whole British League is a mess Rob, I can even remember a promoter sitting on his track to stop the meeting when he didn't get his own way. And decisions like those announced this morning don't help one little jot.
  11. Set race nights for each league would avoid any problems for double uppers and guests.
  12. Its not hard to see who was the driving force was behind the decision.
  13. I think that was the plan but Porsing,s manager decided to plaster it all over Facebook
  14. Well their is only 5 on the MC and only 2 of them are PL promoters.
  15. BSPA Management Committee Chairman - Keith Chapman (Kings Lynn) Vice Chairman - Rob Godfrey (Scunthorpe) Colin Pratt (Swindon) Chris Van Straten (Wolverhampton) & George English (Newcastle) The statement mentions an appeal.
  16. What and you think dust clouds in the opening race is ok. I will be honest and say it wasn't the worst meeting I have ever seen at Lakeside or on sky but it was hardly a classic either. The best track award is given by votes from the referees and let's be honest it's probably decided by how good the tea and sandwiches are.
  17. No they knew the risks apparently just clearly didn't think it would happen.
  18. A truly dreadful display and I really feel for the supporters who went all that way to watch that. Effectively just one second place from 11 rides for Palm Toft, Grondal and Lambert.
  19. They get everything bloody wrong and I have it on good authority from somewhere who was there the point about EDR,s moving to heat leader roles and vice versa was raised and discussed. The simple and common sense answer is to immediately change to the PL race format, it will then level out and produce averages that EVERYONE can understand and work with. Just out of interest who thought the EL race format up anyway.
  20. The rule book itself is a ridiculous situation which very few people fully understand (including Matt Ford apparently) and it needs ripping up and starting again. How ever many years have supporters been saying that. Most of the EL just try to get through a season without losing too much money, I think everyone knows Poole will win the title but you make a good point about the thousands who no longer attend to watch the annual farce. I can remember a friend saying this at the sports AGM a decade ago that allowing any club to dominate the league wasn't good for the sport in general and would kill interest, it would appear he was right.
