  1. Glad I am not the only one to think along those lines, not sure quite what the doctor/paramedic was thinking about allowing that.
  2. Lovely comedy moment by Tatum during heat 3, "tracks gone really slick already Nigel" Kelvin the tracks been slick its entire history.
  3. To the best way of my knowledge and belief referees generally do not exclude riders under the 2 minute rule when they are under power on the track and going towards the tapes. The only exception I can think off is the referee who excluded everyone this year who wasn't ready to race, whether at the start line or not on a sky match this year and made himself and the sport look ridiculous.
  4. Which begs the question why therefore is the Lynn track these days complete and utter pants. I thought considering the problems with the weather the GP was very good and was certainly one of the better ones so far this year, the racing was very good with passing in most heats.
  5. Well regular rain hasn't exactly stopped Vojens staging GP,s or other big meetings, it's very unusual for it not to rain at that place. And of course Vojens as well.
  6. Could be interesting, because suspended by the SCB in the rules provides a facility only and teams missing one rider 2-5 by average are entitled to RR only.
  7. Must remember that next time I disagree with a MC decision. And when exactly has it ever been different.
  8. Don't think he is eligible like R Lambert and Grondall, at the moment our fours team is Ostergaard and MPT.
  9. Suspected dislocated shoulder reported on the Peterborough web site, hopefully not as bad as first feared.
  10. Has an EL GSA less than 6 and started the season with an EL GSA less than 6, his current average converted comes in under Lewis Blackbirds average and was confirmed by referee Tony Steele.
  11. Difficult to say having not witnessed it but I have seen a few accidents at the conclusion of the race and a lot of near misses over the years. The fact the referee has fined and reported Tungate Indicates to me this wasn't viewed as accidental.
  12. Interesting viewpoint from Ipswich in their match report but Scunthorpe haven't posted one yet so hard to make comparisons.
  13. A bit easy for the Panthers if I am honest, I expected more from Sheffield but KENNETT and GARRITY aside they were poor.
  14. They were ground into dust to use the on the Lakeside track
  15. I would think the referee fills in the riders and averages from the line ups supplied by the teams, I still don't understand why the averages were not checked against the latest issue of the GSA but for him and the team managers to all miss it is odd, I agree that teams shouldn't benefit from this sort of mistake and Redcar clearly have, I also don't agree with the SCB decision not to alter the score. This sort of decision hardly sets a good example going forward.
  16. [quote name="Cliffeboy" post="2645070" timestamp="1436545063 Does every other team management know all of the averages of all of the other riders ata given time,of course not It rather depends on the club but I would be surprised if any club doesn't have someone who is not up to speed with GS Averages and how they affect his or hers team on a match by match basis. Just needs to be checked prior to the meeting, a point I think ultimately comes under the meeting referee and why team lists are provided in plenty of time to the meeting official and BSPA office so this kind of problem is avoided.
  17. The only way I can see KUS being able to take the RR ride instead of Robson was if an effective date had been missed of Robsons new GSA and it wasn't effective last night.
  18. Local paper states it was Dave Dowling Latest PL GSA issued on the 3rd July sees the change to Robson, hard to see how Dowling would have missed it if he had checked.
  19. I agree the referee gets the full line ups before the meeting with averages and it's his/her job to check everything is in order with regards to facilities etc. Did we establish who is the referee because updates don't cover it now.
  20. Trouble is its impossible to control and would be broken every week, the only way to cap riders pay is to ensure their are more riders than places, it's very clear that riders are in demand and they know it. Ensuring EL & PL ran on different nights would help as well especially when so many double up.
