  1. I also remember ROYNON being stopped for riding for the Panthers a few years ago when he didn't have a PL average due to being out for a year with a broken neck. It really is about time the BSPA sorted this rulebook out, I keep banging on about it but it does my head in. What's worse is most of the promoters and managers don't even know it, their knowledge of rules and regulations is abysmal.
  2. I know 4 friends who having booked flights and hotels then struggled to get tickets over the internet eventually going through viagogo They had to buy 5 because the above firm wouldn't sell them 4 together, they paid £280 for 5 tickets with a stadium value of around £10 each after adding the fees etc and a not insignificant mark up. They are left feeling very disappointed of having been completely ripped off by what they see as plain profiteering on a grand scale, and are now questioning if they will bother with GP,s abroad in the future. It will be interesting to see what the real attendance will be on the day but this isn't a good start for the Warsaw GP.
  3. Yep but he has always had a British passport as well which made it easier for him.
  4. I see your point but I would sooner have a good top 4 than a good reserve, it certainly didn't hinder Edinburgh this year.
  5. 3.51 for the last rider by my calculations if have both Lamberts as rumoured. I still think another young British rider is the way I would go, just a shame Greenwood chose Somerset over us. To be fair ROYNON wasn't too bad at no 2 last year and in 2015 he will be starting at the same time so shouldn't be at a disadvantage as he was this year.
  6. I can certainly see him improving on his starting average, just need Blackbird to sign now and we will have 2 of the best young British talents at the moment. Cough Blackbird 6.30
  7. We gave Dilger 3 months last year and he was complete pants from start to finish. A young British rider from the NL is definitely the way to go. Morley, Perry, Phillips, Halsey etc
  8. If they are truly considering DILGER on the basis they haven't got much left to fill the last spot then surely a young Brit from the NL is the one to go for.
  9. I don't think even Dilger expects to be back, least of all the supporters
  10. I suggested years ago that the BSPA issues GSA with calculated averages (on an agreed conversion 0.6, 0.4 or whatever) that shows a riders average not only for the league he was riding in but a conversion for another league if eligible to ride in it. That way everyone would know exactly where they were and averages wouldn't be the minefield it currently is
  11. You bloody sign him then, he is complete pants and well past his sell by
  12. Certainly have on that average. - ridiculous
  13. I cannot really disagree with any of the above and we have had ST pretty much since 1992, they do need to offer an incentive though and this years is a bit thin bearing in mind it's less matches than 2014 and £50 dearer. They also need to take into account the fact that a lot of couples both have ST but don't need 2 programmes and only one car park pass.
  14. I agree, genuinely a nice bloke who could do very well.
  15. So what's new, this practice has gone on for decades
  16. He has been a 3.00 reserve for years, no improvement.
  17. You could be right but not at Plymouth
  18. You should be able to understand him then because you have a degree in talking complete bollox
