I think most people who come on here know their are some head cases and allowances have to be made, Phil Rising is smart enough to know a lot of people appreciate his inside knowledge and help and I am sure the crap he gets from some is mostly ignored like the rest of us have too.

It's an interesting idea, haven't heard that one before. An old promoter I knew once told me riders don't go out to come last, I can only say he clearly didn't have the same level of experience of watching the DRYML,s away from home over the years that I had. -

Plymouth PR has DRYML riding, would be nice to see it confirmed but Peterborough haven't issued a PR on the match yet. -

Just shows how inept the BSPA are in my opinion, amateurish in the extreme. -

I agree Blackbird could be just fitted in if they lose Hall, on the September GSA. Win win all round. -
To be fair Max CLEGG was originally replacing DILGER but pulled out on the day as did Hall so all in all I think they made a fair effort, bearing in mind the PR didn't come out until midday tells us they were still phoning around in the morning. PHILLIPS is sponsored by Motive and has guested for us before.

Getting old, the blokes 82. -
The FIM jury at Latvia had the power to suspend him for 28 days.
-
I think you are giving far too much credit to the FIM Let's be honest he should have been banned by the FIM jury at the Latvian GP, who had the power to give him a straight 28 day ban as well as a fine, the fact that it's taken the FIM nearly 2 weeks to do what should have been done immediately doesn't show them as ultra professional either. It's a PR disaster all round because Ward is a great rider and deserves to be in the GP,s on merit.

Correct, my mistake I did mean fail a breath test.
-
Phil Is it procedure to take a blood sample if riders fail a blood test, a subsequent properly taken blood test would quickly either clear or determine a riders intoxication.

Panthers V Berwick 26/08/2014 @ 7pm

TBH I doubt many miss because it's PL, a fair bit is down to the Tuesday race night and I dare say a weaker team now doesn't help. Panthers fans were used to some regular success but nothing now for the best part of a decade has also played its part. Cost is undoubtably another, speedway is a £10 sport not a £15 to £17 one. If the racing was generally good, reasonably priced and we had a clear set of rules that were adhered too and fairly administered I think a lot more people would attend. At the end of the day people want entertainment on the track not meetings ruined by poor track prep, poor teams or crap refereeing. -

I was told Jacobs was very disappointed to be dropped by the Panthers, I think its fair having seen Dilger ride now most of the Panthers fans are pretty disappointed he was dropped as well.
