  1. Judging by the posts on hear and the boro forums you are not alone.
  2. I agree with most of that but Blackbird is better than ROYNON this year. Lol
  3. Good post and perhaps it's time we let the powers that be know enough is enough. To be fair the principle of boycotting matches with Poole is sound but falling attendances throughout the sport over the last few years should be getting the message across that things have to change.
  4. I take it you meant to say Bratters, Batters is what Somerset did to Rye House the other night
  5. Very true Again very true The reason we couldn't run regular Friday meetings was the Showground, if they hadn't stopped us I doubt we would have changed race night GP's or not.
  6. Presumably this is the same Len Silver who said in the star a while back that he thought speedway in the UK was in fine shape.
  7. North should have been in the side from the start, in the place of DRYML
  8. Website doesn't mention it, which is why I asked. That's a bit poor not to mention it, turning up to an away match to find out the no 1 wasn't riding and no guest wouldn't go down very well with me, frankly it's extracting the urine.
  9. I can only agree, this is a totally unacceptable performance. What was the problem with KENNETT
  10. I am not knocking that it's been done properly and in accordance with the Governing bodies but it's the inconsistency that stinks and the fact that one rider is French and the other English should make a difference is daft. Either it's allowed or it isn't.
  11. Scunthorpe have followed procedure and the good old BSPA and SCB have allowed it when the rulebook says NO FACILITY. Yet another classic example of inconsistency and as others have pointed out Rye didn't get anything for TRESARRIEU when he was missing.
  12. Interesting, Ref from my info is Tony Steele so it will be interesting to see what he thinks. Although the weather could have the final say
  13. What and you think they improved with RR for Fisher and a woeful performing DRYML.
  14. I remember the sky meeting well and would have had no complaints if Tony Steele had excluded him that night. Personally I don't have much complaint with Jim Lawrence's decision last night, if that had been Nicki Pedersen instead of Nilsson I doubt many others would as well.
  15. Interesting comments but surely 2 nights is the way forward, Wednesday & Thursday with one home and one away each week on either night. No guests would be needed for double up riders if PL ran on any nights other than the fore mentioned and let everyone double up, why not, if a team wants to include someone on a 12 or 13 point average so what, they will surely be exposed somewhere else. The top riders could then just ride 2 nights in the UK and those that wanted more could double up.
  16. I agree with others Niels, Nicki, MJJ and Hans would have been my choice bearing in mind the finals at Bydgoszcz. Only time will tell if Secher was right.
  17. The chief executive Andrew Mercer left years ago Phil, him and his assistant caused the problems at the 2009 Final, his assistant left before Mercer. I would be surprised if a deal couldn't be done, whether the current promoters/lease holders are interested is another matter entirely.
  18. Yes I also saw it on Facebook and the red light was very clear. On the meeting itself, it was very entertaining and I am really pleased GB won but I thought the racing was pretty poor if I am honest and having attended Lynn loads of times this isn't unusual at Saddlebow.
