On the contrary most clubs make decent money on programmes and don’t think that’s likely to change as Curtis Sport prints the majority of them these days.
It depends on the Programme though to be fair, some clubs go the extra mile while others just do the basics.
I certainly don’t think a lot of them are particularly good value and most of them offer very little content.
As a professional sportsman I would have thought it would be common sense for all riders to check with the SCB before taking anything, that would risk their riding status.
You know as well as everyone else why Howarth signed for Plymouth and it has nothing to do with trophies, it’s stuff he wants, stuff you can buy things with.
It would have been nice to know why the SCB made the decision re Robert Lambert when the BSPL have sole authority to approve or not on team line ups, perhaps this will be revealed in time.
