  1. Nicholls and Bates replace Bjerre and Barker. A good move for Panthers which strengthens up the top end of the team. Both in time for Thursdays match against Poole.
  2. Well actually you can as Wolves have currently with Nick Morris. Being honest I have no problem when the SCB enforce the regulations it’s when they don’t enforce them as per the Premiership play Off final ref Guests, that stinks.
  3. Forecast is sunshine for most of the day so no worries ref the weather.
  4. Not convinced Phil, At the top level a decent start is a distinct advantage, on some tracks it practically guarantees you a race win.
  5. The Crendon Panthers are still sweating on the fitness of Lasse Bjerre who crashed heavily last weekend – if he doesn’t make it they will utilise the rider replacement facility.PETERBOROUGH: Hans Andersen, Lasse Bjerre, Ben Barker, Charles Wright, Rohan Tungate, Aaron Summers, Bradley Wilson-Dean.IPSWICH: Chris Harris, Richard Lawson, Danny King, David Bellego, Krystian Pieszczek, Cameron Heeps, Jake Allen.
  6. Exactly just how hard is it to sit still and not move until the tapes go up.
  7. Why oh why can they not just keep it simple, scoring 4,3,2,0 and running it as a standard 21 heat meeting would have produced the exact some top 3 without all this additional race faff. Even the riders cannot get their heads around the current system. If they want to keep the interest going until the end just ensure the fancied teams meet late on in the meeting, job done.
  8. The area took a lot of rain yesterday but the track was prepared and packed ahead of the weather. At the moment it’s cloudy but dry with light showers forecast.
  9. Peterborough take on Belle Vue again Thursday for Premiership points and will be hoping for a much improved performance on their season opener against Belle Vue in April. Carl Johnson has stated that he thinks Bjerre will be fit enough to return for this match so expected teams are Panthers: Andersen, Bjerre or RR, Barker, Wright, Tungate, Summers & Wilson Dean. Aces: Fricke, Worrall, Bewley, Wells, Bjerre, Berge & Lidsey.
  10. It wasn’t just a poor decision it was diabolical and quite rightly the BT panel condemned it unanimously, Rosco of course as usual saw it to his advantage so didn’t find anything wrong with it but from a racing point it of view it was ridiculous. It really is about time that the TV matches are refereed by the best referees, what made it worse was I thought I saw Tony Steele in the pits who I assumed was the second SCB official, if it was he should have been on the button.
  11. Just out of interest who suggested this style of working out GSA
  12. Panthers twitter have confirmed its RR for the injured Bjerre tonight
  13. And in my opinion their was little passing, you obviously think otherwise. I don’t, get over it.
  14. As others have said it’s your own perspective, I had heard good reports about Belle Vue and to be fair I was a tad disappointed if I am honest, I wasn’t the only one in my party either. As you say it wasn’t a classic.
  15. My first visit to the NSS and it looked a very tidy stadium and track, the track looked grippy early doors but it was clear it was fairly slick and all though a few on here thought the racing was good their was little passing after the first corner. Trapping was paramount as Tungate clearly showed but him apart we lacked heat winners and that’s what cost us mid meeting. The meeting was run at a good rate and we were on our way home at just after 9pm.
  16. It can’t happen at the moment anyway Nicholls is in the Wolves team.
  17. It should be rerun of course, Wolves should have got their finger out like Belle Vue did.
