  1. I just love the Kings Lynn match preview and I quote " The only current absentee is Nicklas Porsing (concussion) with regular stand in Simon Lambert stepping into the breach at reserve" Porsing top scored for Rospiggarna tonight scoring 13+1, not bad for someone with concussion.
  2. Barker accepted a guest booking for Peterborough at Glasgow cried off on the day saying he was unwell and then practised the same day at Stoke later on, the SCB apparently were not interested in doing anything about it.
  3. A tweet reported from BJERRE this afternoon saying he was on one of his brothers engine as problems with his. Sounds like it wasn't any better than his own.
  4. What's the news re CAMPTON, withdrawn last night at Berwick after crashes and no mention on either the Workington or Berwick web sites.
  5. I agree which makes it all the more concerning that 3 members of the Management Committee attempted to persuade the referee to do just that. It doesn't say a lot for the integrity of the MC does it.
  6. I was going to say it's about time everyone did what most Panthers fans do and just ignore the idiot
  7. Read what I put David, I said the track caused the riders problems and judging by the falls and comments early doors it did. Of course going by numerous comments this year and no less a former world champion, the track clearly isn't currently at its best and to be fair from my visits over the last decade or so it's not getting any better. Of course he didn't, Chapman would have known what meetings he couldn't do when he signed him, its basic team management.
  8. So if I read this right Kings Lynn went into this match stating in print on their website “With Porsing set to rejoin Auty at reserve, the Stars track a full one to seven for two meetings in one night against the 2016 Elite League champions.” and yet only revealed just before the start that they were without Palm Toft who was apparently riding in Denmark. The BSPA Chairman, Vice Chairman and another committee member all attempted to persuade the meeting referee to abandon/postpone the second match which was clearly against the rules and she correctly declined. The second meeting was abandoned after 10 heats - was a correct/official reason given for this or had everyone lost interest by then. The track caused riders a lot of problems early doors but was better when some extensive work was carried out by the home promotion. I am not impressed with the Lynn report and I rather think resignations should be forthcoming, this was a complete shambles of epic proportions from start to finish.
  9. What a complete and utter farce and Chapman you have the bare faced cheek to accuse others of bringing the sport in the U.K. into disrepute.
  10. So what's the reason for no Palm Toft, surely Buster hasn't ridden a weakened team
  11. Pretty average I can cope with it's when it's bloody awful I object
  12. I must be honest and say I wasn't planning on coming to this after the quality of the racing last time but it appears we have a full side and that's a rarity this year.
  13. You must have had a couple of hundred hiding in the club house then either that or a fair amount of them were wearing red or black clothing. But the bottom line is it was still only a few hundred in total.
  14. You get floating fans at every club as I dare say a few fans went because they could see the home winning which is something that doesn't always happen at Scunthorpe. I didn't notice any great difference to Scunthorpe,s crowd from past visits.
  15. How did Scunthorpe suffer on Sunday, they had another poor home crowd boosted by a large travelling Panthers contingement and they won.
  16. I have been to all the Peterborough matches at Scunthorpe over the last two years and the attendances have always been dire ( a few hundred at most) with Panthers fans probably making up 50% of the attendance.
  17. Probably due in part to a good number of Panthers fans that were doing the 3 match tour
  18. As has been stated that's not quite the case, dates are not movable the question has been raised several times. Cut off is the 18th September so league table establishing the top four in order will be done then, clearly whether all matches are completed or not.
  19. The question of putting back the play offs has been raised several times this season and the response has always been the same - No We wait and see but it's clear several clubs are not going to get all their fixtures in before the cut off date.
