  1. Very gloomy and wet this morning. S'posed to clear up later early afternoon. After last weeks defeat the Rockets will want to put on a show. Most are in decent form. Hopeful Steve Boxall has sorted his bikes out. Much will depend on Rockets guest reserves Graverson and Sarjeant. Cautiously predicting a home win, but not by much
  2. Updates available on this link http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/14230/somerset-house-league-10th-april?page=1&scrollTo=264686
  3. Three fruitless visits to see the Rockets there, three pathetic performances. Cutting down on away meetings with the arrival of the baby. Only doing the PL there this year. Best of luck if you go. You never know.....
  4. Not on the track at Berwick last week he wouldn't. Slick as a baby's bottom
  5. Boxall is suffering from his usual bike problems. Was riding a tractor on Monday. Needs to sort himself out if he's gonna score points at this level.
  6. Vissing is pretty handy round there and I reckon Nikolaj will enjoy it. The rest will struggle. Reckon we're looking at around 32 points. Write this one off and try and take something away from Ipswich & Plymouth
  7. Dunno about that. I presume they're gonna leave it as grass.
  8. As far as I know the banking on the bends is gonna be grassed over and there will be tiered seating on the back straight
  9. He's started the season off pretty well according to the other half. Cheap
  10. Doubtful that he'll come back from NZ anytime soon
  11. Warren Scott bought the entire operation. Len Silver is in charge of team matters and track prep, nothing else as far as I know
  12. Tres missed a few meetings for Rye House last year due to grass track commitments
  13. Such a lame argument..... I've never had a woodwork lesson in my life, but I know a nice bit of furniture when I see it. We won the league in 2005, hammering 50+ points past most teams week on week. Crowds at Rye House were more than double what they are now..... Berwick fans are weird
  14. Berwick used to be unbeatable at home when the track wasn't as well prepared (on purpose I suspect)
  15. I heard of an EL rider who was on £375 a point last year. It's a dangerous sport and they are brave men, but that's just plain ridiculous and surely can't be sustainable in the current climate of falling attendances in the UK.
  16. It's a possibility I s'pose if Edinburgh allow it. We don't know how long Kasper will be out for
  17. And yet most clubs are still losing money, so who's to blame? Greedy riders, over priced equipment, expensive engine tuning?I genuinely don't know the answer
  18. Peterborough battered Ipswich tonight. The LC group is wide open once again
