  1. Hang on, surely that site isn't worthy of reference as it doesn't have NL details on it!!😨
  2. Mike Keen and Eric Boocock both scored a max in the same meeting at Blunsdon in 1973.
  3. I think it's widely recognised that Autrey opened the flodgates following the likes of Bast and Woods not sticking it out.
  4. Decent at his best - no doubt. No pioneer over here though in my view.
  5. Not all of them, no He averaged less than 6.50 in both seasons with Poole. Waloszek, Kaiser, Teo and maybe even Zyto averaged over 7 and Kwoczala over 8. It's debatable whether Woryna was the best at their peaks, but he definitely made only a small impact riding ovee here.
  6. Woryna well past his best when he got to Poole. Zyto, Kaiser and Waloszek were all pretty good. Teo and Kwoczala decent too.
  7. kwoczala Kaiser zyto Bentke Teodorowicz Waloszek Off the top of my head.... At least 6 without having to think hard, making Woryna hardly a pioneer. I detect you may need a lie down in a dark room to calm down.
  8. Really? Numerous Poles had been over well before Woryna first rode for Poole in 1973. Plech was definitely the best of the mid 70's Poles.
  9. It does appear that the penny is slowly dropping for those who had faith in that dodgepot.
  10. Wow we were world class crap. Beaten by a much, much better team. Good luck to the Aces in the final against those dirty, snivelling Pirates.
  11. Sarjeant unlucky yet again at the start😯
  12. How can a human being I've never met wind me up so much? Pearson is insufferable!!
  13. I take it the ridiculous double-up situation isn't getting addressed in 2016 then? No way Wells will ride PL only surely?
  14. Teo sought asylum whilst in Holland on a Polish team tour. Story is he left the rest in a cinema and went to the nearest police station. He remained in Holland and was put in prison for a spell before a campaign to get him released. He signed for Swindon in 1959 and was mainly a 7 point rider until his accident in 1964. He also ran a garage close by to the Blunsdon circuit. He crashed in his last race at West Ham and became unconscious at The London Hospital when apparently he was asked to take off his leathers. He remained in a coma until the following January. He was 33, married to a midwife and had a young daughter. His final resting place is in Whitworth Road Cemetery in Swindon.
  15. Getting humped by 10 points by Germany shows how little depth GB have, even at u-21 level.
  16. Harkess comes across as not having the first clue where to start trying to put things right. If he's supposed to be the Captain of the ship there's only one way things are going to go.
