  1. The Kings Lynn team that went to Leicester a couple of weeks ago looked to be the weakest team so far put out in the Premiership, seems Somerset are intent on taking that dubious title.
  2. If that true then Belle Vue Colts should suffer the same fate as Peterborough, once again we have a club riding rough shod over the rules and short changing the public. IMO the BSPA must act.
  3. According to announcements last night at Berwick, Somerset have enquired about using David Howe, Kevin Doolan and Danny Gappmaier as guests.
  4. Any fool could see that the turn out last night was down on numbers, not unless there was 400 people sitting on the main stand roof, could anyone from the back straight confirm.
  5. Why let him bother you, why answer this poster who is clearly a whined up merchant and just hooked another poster.
  6. Same story as with the Newcastle meeting last Sunday, very poor from the Peterborough promotion.
  7. Fantastic to see Craig Cook make SGP next season, certainly returned to top form just at the right time.
  8. Congratulations to Berwick`s Leon Flint on becoming British 250cc Champion for the third time at Glasgow last night.
  9. Another good meaning where once again I had value for money, sad then there was not as many there to see it as usual, hopefully those who don`t attend as regular anymore will return as the racing has been of a decent level for most of this season. Congratulations to Nick Morris on his paid max, he had to ride some very tough first turns to do so but he was a class above last night and also delighted to hear that Tero Aarnio`s injury is not as bad as announced last night.
  10. Didn't fall but had a coming together with Gappmaier on the last corner of the last lap sustaining a broken metatarsal.
  11. Lets hope the second part of your prediction works out a bit better than the first.
  12. Tero Aarnio a good job for Newcastle last season and is putting in some very decent scores for Scunthorpe this, in fact some match winning scores at times so his scoring tonight will go along way to deciding his side's fate. Sadly for him and Scunthorpe I can only see a reasonably comfortable home win.
  13. Bit breezy but tomorrows forecast is good. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819?day=1
  14. Dont think the dropping of Sedgeman was the problem, it was the almighty cock up that the Ipswich promotion made of it that saw them having to take back a rider they clearly didn't want.
  15. Holder will get away without a ban as his club gave him permission to miss the 4`s and the meeting at Newcastle last night, probably Scunthorpe next Sunday to race in Poland.
  16. Thats the main issue for me, Peterborough knew they were turning up last night without Holder and were rightly denied any guest facility, but Newcastle may have suffered losing out through the turnstiles and they have done nothing wrong.
  17. In this particular instance its got very little to do with the BSPA, in fact in denying the Panthers any facility for Holder they have done all they can. Letting Holder miss meetings in the first place is the problem.
  18. That just wont happen, there is no problem with riding in Poland, the problem comes when riders are missing Championship meetings to ride for their Polish club, as is happening with Holder.
  19. I have sympathy for the paying public of both sides, especially those who have followed Peterborough at Edinburgh and then Berwick last night, I have sympathy for the Newcastle promotion who have done nothing wrong yet have to try a get a decent crowd through the door. I have zero sympathy with the Peterborough promotion who have let one of their better riders disappear off to Poland just so they can get a few extra pounds in the kitty. I am sure they will do their best but this could arguably the weakest Championship this season.
  20. You also have to feel for the Panthers fans who have been following their side over the last couple of days to, good amount at Berwick last night who no doubt will be moving on to Brough Park tonight.
