Bikes On Parade At Berwick
screm replied to abyassinian bandit's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Good grief, maybe I was wrong yesterday, maybe Mr Barrie does hold power with the club. Futures all rosy then. -
Absolutely, those who fail to get a 7pt average by the end of the season will only have the State Championships if they want employment over here for 2016. That of course will now include Ty Proctor.

In one of Edinburgh`s recent meetings they didn't get enough through the gate to break even, so anything that gets a few extra at either track has to be a good thing.

Yes it seems some just help dangling their tiddler hoping for a bite. -

I`d be amazed if Mr Barrie holds that kind of power with Berwick. -
Obviously it was good to see the best riders riding at Berrington, but it almost cost Berwick its speedway, and the less said about Linden the better.

Cant believe that this thread is still so prominent, Ward is not far off from making his racing return, hopefully he will do all his talking on the track from now on.

No messing around in Poland, out has gone Kasprzak and Zagar, and as part of the Stal Gorzow team this Sunday will be Craig Cook, hopefully he has a good meeting. Got his work cut out mind as they take on arch rivals Falubaz Zielona Gora.

They`ve tried most things at Berwick to get the crowds back, going on your thinking if that didn't bring the crowds back then nothing would. -
Ipswich Witches Vs Berwick Bandits Koc 2nd Leg

Its a woman's right to change her mind again and again if needs be, though it does make the life of their men quite trying at times, after all we are a simple breed so like things nice and clear. -

Not unless the weather intervenes or there is a strange turn of events I`m not expecting Berwick to still be in the KOC come Friday morning. -

I voted yes to, IMO getting bikes out for the parade would be a great idea, its the presentation and length of it where the problem is which is sad really as I think it would be a good way to start the meeting. -

Still in the tin. -
Didn't Berwick run all 15Hts with only the Berwick riders on track, it was quite noticeable which riders were keen to return the following season as they had the most engine failures.

Didn't know that, just took it for granted that Berwick would've had Luke signed up, as you say that could prove to be a major over sight.

He was the ref, but I`m sure he did his best. -
Hopefully starting with Prague next Saturday, as I think its fair to say the first two GP`s haven't exactly lived up to the billing.
-
If he has made his racing return, shouldn't that mean he should take his place in Sheffield`s next fixture.

Rye House V Workington Comets 17-5-2015

Sadly I agree, maybe its time to accept that riders are always going to put leagues abroad, usually higher paying ones at that, higher than their commitments over here. -
For a rider with limited experience it encouraging to see Luke Ruddick putting in some very decent scores for Mildenhall in the NL. It must be a good thing for Berwick`s long term future that they now have three young assets racing in the NL. NB Cornhillcol, please don't read this post. In other news Claus Vissing had a good meeting in Poland today, he scored 14pts for his club KSM Krosno. Sadly for him his team lost by 1pt at Lublin.
