  1. As has already been said we`ve had quite a bit of rain throughout the night in Berwick, it is still very overcast but the forecast is an improving one for the rest of the day.
  2. You never fail to live down to your own expectations do you, and its to your credit.
  3. Wet morning dry afternoon is the easiest way to describe the weather tomorrow. Rain is forecast for a good part of the night tonight, that will move slowly away during Saturday morning leaving the late morning and rest of Saturday dry and bright.
  4. And there in lies the problem, I think it would be a great idea to get the bikes lined up as in years gone by, but we need introductions done promptly and the riders on their bikes for their parade soon after, all done and dusted for Ht1 at 7pm, sadly with our presenter I cant see that happening.
  5. I would also like to see the return of bikes out on parade, as long as we aren`t sitting there for ages then I think it would be a great way to start the night, that of course is dependant on our parade presenter getting on with introducing the riders. It seems that some see any kind of criticism as a personal attack on the promotion, which of course it isn't, nobody wants to see the speedway fail.
  6. I agree, I would be surprised if one or two stopped going just because a few fans next to them were moaning, would it be to much to ask to move to another part of Shielfield, still enjoy your speedway and get away from the moaners. Must admit I didn't hear this shouting last Saturday, though to be fair I sit amongst more exclusive clientele.
  7. In what way, the only way a customer can consider their position is do I go or not, Berwick`s support is dwindling on a weekly bases, surely we need to encourage more along. Your not one of the "hoy them out" brigade are you, we have one on here already.
  8. Both Vissing and Jorgensen have selected to ride in a Danish Championship round, so Berwick will use a guest for one and R/R for the other. After his crash last night there must be a doubt about Edberg riding next Saturday, but I think as he is the lower average reserve we will have to go with a rider from the NL who isn't contracted to a PL side, sure someone will correct this if I am wrong.
  9. Its likely to be a severely weakened and patched up Berwick team that take on Ipswich next Saturday, so hopefully Hall can get a few practise laps in somewhere this week to get himself ready for his first meeting for us.
  10. Maybe I`m the only positive one on here, but Berwick have had troubled times in the past yet have kept going, I hope that remains the case for many years to come, but your right in the respect that if it does indeed close then seeing it return at a later stage would be virtually impossible.
  11. A team change had to be made, Crang wasn't contributing, maybe winning races at NL level for Coventry for the rest of this season will see him return to PL racing next season more confident. Hall should make Berwick stronger from reserve starting next week with our KOC meeting with Ipswich.
  12. Crowd was very poor last night, may have been the weather, may have been the club announcing in a recent newsletter that they had already forgotten about the League Cup, may be losing home meetings so early in the season whatever it is the promotion must be worried and need do something to get the missing fans back before its to late. There were suggestions on here a few weeks back that poor entertainment on track and a few home defeats would see fans voting with their feet, these suggestions were ridiculed as attention seeking, the fact is crowds are dwindling.
  13. Alex Edberg has been released from hospital this morning and though he is very sore there are no broken bones, which after seeing his crash last night is something we can all welcome.
  14. First off, best wishes to Alex Edberg, hopefully any injuries wont be bad ones and he will be back asap. Of the other riders who crashed tonight, Bach was on his feet soon after crashing, and Barrett though having to be with drawn due to an arm injury didn't need hospital treatment and stayed to watch the rest of the meeting, so should be able to take his place in the Workington team very soon. IMO we need to look at the position of Luke Crang in the team, its clear he is struggling at the minute and his scores are suffering, if there`s an opportunity to strengthen the reserve position I hope we take it. I am sure Luke is doing his best but the team must come first after Hall. Last but not least, best wishes to my friend Rocky, hope you are back very soon.
  15. Ah but that isn't interpretation, that`s inebriation, sometimes inebriated as a newt.
  16. Data interpretation is only for the weird, same with moisture content.
  17. Maybe he`s just decided that whatever the rights and wrongs, or whatever he may think privately, its best to accept his ban and move on with the rest of his career. Time will tell but he might now be maturing as a person and a rider, if so then I applaud him for that, he has proved he has the talent to be a top rider, once he has served his ban I wish him the best of luck in trying to qualify for the SGP series.
  18. Had a little bit of rain overnight, right now its dry and bright if a bit chilly, one or two clouds around but its mostly blue skies. Forecast is decent for the rest of the day, dry, bright with just a chance of the odd shower.
  19. Virtually no chance of repeating last weeks rain off as the weather forecast is good for tomorrow, it will be bright and dry all day with a fresh south easterly breeze that will keep things on the cool side. Hopefully we will see a good meeting tomorrow night, even in the case of Berwick fans, we are going to see our team thrashed.
  20. Must've missed that interview, maybe you could post a link.
