  1. Chris Holder Matej Zagar Krystof Kasprzak Michal Jepsen Jensen Greg, Tai and Nicki to miss out on semis.
  2. No changes, why fix something that is working so well.
  3. Your right, I only saying Edinburgh have 13pts to go for.
  4. Edinburgh have 13pts to race for before the cut off date, there`s every chance they will get all 13 and finish top even with two matches still to race.
  5. Scunthorpe are the form team right now, I`m sure Edinburgh & Somerset will want to avoid them, though with Edinburgh getting 1st pick I think Scunthorpe will end up with Somerset. IMO Edinburgh will pick Berwick.
  6. Virtually all of Berwick`s play-off rivals have won at Sheffield this season, so the club must be disappointed not to do the same, though after recent efforts away from home a point is at least an improvement. Good performances from Bellego, Doolan and Kus, quite how our No1 can go from looking untouchable one night to his performance last night is a mystery, also it looks like we have lost our scoring power from the reserve position.
  7. Berwick haven't hit the heights away from home of late, what better way of boosting some confidence than to win at Sheffield tonight. The Tigers have been beaten at home a number of times this season, so why not tonight, if we are to do anything in the play-offs we need to be winning matches like this.
  8. Liam Carr underwent his first operation to try to repair his damaged knee today . They are keeping him in over night as he's had a lot of trauma in his knee today with them poking and pulling on ligaments. He's had a lot of morphine so they don't want to release him yet as he's still not with it yet and still in a lot of pain. All at Berwick Bandits Speedway wish Liam a full & speedy recovery . Taken from Berwick Speedway Facebook page.
  9. Berwick already have won some silverware this season, we won the Tweed/Tees Trophy earlier this season. If we don't win anything else this season, that will be our major honour.
  10. Comfortable enough win over a weakened Workington side, no doubt there will be tougher meetings now the play-offs are just round the corner. Vissing was excellent, sadly the Workington No1 had an off night. Though not impossible, that kind of thing is harder to do under these rolling averages.
  11. This promotion are a clever lot, but I don't think even they would come up with a plan like that.
  12. Lets see how many meetings he gets, it is good he has a contract in Poland though the Polish Extraleague might be a step to far.
  13. He certainly did, but at a cost, IMO his time at Berwick Speedway wont be looked back upon with a whole lot of affection, though I think its fair to say some got more out of it than others.
  14. Berwick is most certainly in England, and unless our friends across the border come back and invade it will remain so for some time to come. Something I think the majority of the people are quite happy about.
  15. Take away the tactical rides and Berwick wouldn't have hit 30pts, it seems other teams who are going to be in the play-offs are hitting top form where as Berwick`s fortunes are going the other way. We need some of our riders back on top form for the play-offs as we don't have Mr Kus at reserve hitting big scores.
  16. I`m sure we`ll be getting a visit from the forum police quite soon, as for Mr Barrie he can reply for himself, from whatever username he chooses.
  17. Totally agree, though I suppose it keeps the happy clapper section happy. Having a joke is fine, all for it, but this one has become tiresome and quite frankly boring.
  18. No problems what so ever weatherwise for tomorrows meeting, dry with plenty of sunshine for Wednesday. Home win IMO especially now Workington will be turning up Bachless and Howarth not exactly 100% fit.

Krcmar was very impressive in this years SWC, and would be a valuable asset to any PL team over here, though as with any young rider he`d bound to miss meetings from Under-21 meetings be it Worlds or Europeans, individual or team events, but at the end you`d be bringing in an asset.
  20. Last night Matej Kus finished a creditable 8th in the Tomicek Memorial meeting in Prague last night, he ended the meeting with 8pts. The meeting was won by Emil Sayfutdinov.
  21. I am sure everyone will have their newsletters this very morning.
  22. Your right, IMO the team that finishes top when all the fixtures are over should be the Champions, but we have the play offs now, and they wont be going away anytime soon, so we have to make the best of them.
