  1. The meeting was well promoted, and the club rewarded with a decent crowd for their work, it will be interesting to see if the crowd level is the same for tomorrows meeting with Somerset.
  2. Please can you just right names, its not that difficult surely.
  3. Of the current team there is only two Berwick assets, now IMO assets in speedway is largely pointless, but our non-Berwick assets will go back to the parent clubs at the end of the season, of course that doesn't mean they wont return.
  4. Vissing 7-53 Doolan 6-87 Wethers 6-30 Bellego 6-17 Jensen 5-57 Kus 5-49 Edberg 4-39 Total 42-32. So providing they stick to the same points limit for next season, yes it possible to retain the same one to seven.
  5. Matej Kus is very happy and very proud to be riding at Berwick, the way things are going Kus will move into the main body of the team, with Steen Jensen going to reserve. IMO Jensen will do just as well at reserve, whatever happens we are in a strong position reserve wise when it comes to the play-offs, should we get there.
  6. Hang on, one of our merry troupe was telling me only the other night he could've get enough of them as it took him back to when he was a younger man when he would march behind them.
  7. Of course you could've picked out post three, that also mentioned Berge as possible guest, I was unaware that Berge wouldn't be able to make, as I suspect a few of us on here would've been. Sad really has he is very exciting to watch round Shielfield.
  8. Couldn't you have posted the posts where a Berwick fan, yes a Berwick fan, questioned the signing of Matej Kus.
  9. Delighted I can help make your day run a little smoother.
  10. Speculate to accumulate, if by paying for a few extra posters and putting them in the right places, you get an extra few through the gate you will have covered the price of any printing. Being called dim is no problem, I`ve be called far worse.
  11. Hope you have a cracking night, we are a friendly bunch up here, if a little weird at times.
  12. Bingo, to be fair all my points I make on here are simple ones, some people have far to much intellect for their own good.
  13. That's fair enough, maybe I am being a tad harsh on Roynon, sadly for him, either by being dropped or losing a team place through injury he hasn't been in a team for much more than a season. Hopefully for him and Peterborough this move works out and he can have a run as a Panther for the rest of this season and into 2015.
  14. That I wouldn't know, though I am sure if they contacted Berwick Speedway they would get an answer. Contact details will be on our official site.
  15. Swindon SprocketsPeterborough Pumas Mildenhall Fen Tigers Boston Barracudas Glasgow Tigers Rye House Rockets Birmingham Brummies Ostrów Wlkp. (POL) Workington Comets Stoke Potters King's Lynn Stars Dudley Heathens Redcar Bears Leicester Lions Coventry Bees Sheffield Tigers These are Roynon`s teams he has ridden for so far, they are taking from Wikipedia, obviously there have been seasons where he has been riding for more than one team. You can add Plymouth to the list to, and now Peterborough.
  16. Peterborough must be hoping the three new riders will come good, Hall & Roynon have become PL journeymen, Dilger didn't exactly do anything spectacular in his previous attempts in the PL but like others have said options were pretty limited.
  17. Would Liam Carr not be a decent shout to come in for Fox.
  18. Very true, but in the current averages it will mean Steen Jensen will drop to reserve, and he is scoring decent points in the main body of the team. There is no reason why he cant score just as well at reserve.
  19. Would've liked to have seen Berge involved, but for obvious reasons Glasgow are reticent to let their Frenchman ride for Berwick, cant think why. We have a Scunthorpe reserve coming in for one of our your scorers, we are up against things on Saturday, but I`m confident Vissing, Doolan etc can cover the loses.
  20. Off thread I know but this is the most recent Workington thread, as everyone knows Workington will now be coming over to race at Berwick on Wednesday September 10th. Admission on that night will be £10, however anyone with a rain-off ticket from the original fixture can use it, also, there will be a free programme on the night.
  21. Berwick team for Saturday. 1 Claus Vissing 2 Thomas Jorgensen 3 Steen Jensen 4 R/R 5 Keven Doolan 6 Alex Edberg 7 Ander Thomsen
