Can`t we put this to bed.

Having checked the fixtures, and thanks to the Edinburgh Monarchs, a Newcastle v Berwick KOC Final this year is unlikely.

Its just a pity that at time of writing the Diamonds and the Bandits wont face each other again this season. Maybe a KOC Final.

I wasn't there last Sunday so cant comment on what did or did not happen, though with all arguments there will be two sides to the story. Have to pick you up on the sore losers, where have you been, Berwick have done a fair bit of losing over the last few season so shouldn't have anything to be sore about.

Apology Issues by Club Owner, Rob Grant. Club owner, Rob Grant has issued an apology to his patrons. This comes after strong foul and abrasive actions were directed to them after the completion of Heat 15 on Sunday night against the Berwick Bandits. Rob Grant commented, “we had an excellent uptake with our kids go free promotion and this made me even more annoyed by the actions of certain individuals directing strong and abusive behaviour towards my supporters. I feel even though it’s nothing to do with anyone in the Newcastle camp, I am responsible for the management of the prohibited area of the pits where my supporters were unfortunately targeted and I sincerely apologise for the actions of others. They have been dealt with and this sort of behaviour is unacceptable and won’t be tolerated by Newcastle Speedway. I`d be surprised is Bickley has his own equipment out in Poland to use so if he has Torun club bikes you wonder about the maintenance of those bikes.

Disappointing night for Kyle with only 2+1 in his sides home defeat. To get regular racing in Poland he will need to improve his scores.

Kyle Bickley gets another opportunity for his Polish club tomorrow in the ExtraLeague Under-24`s. This time its Torun v Ostrow, a Torun team sees Bickley joined by felloe Brit Jordan Palin. Said a couple of weeks that I`d be amazed if we see BWD in a Newcastle race jacket again.

As expected Joe Thompson comes into the Wolves to cover for Leon Flint.

Leon Flint dislocated his shoulder at Berwick last night so is likely to be doubtful for his trip to Latvia.

Woffinden ends with 2pts, very poor. Not the only reason for Wroclaw`s defeat but a significant one as he is one of the team leaders.

I think you mean that Berwick are single handily highlighting the inefficiencies of other tracks to bring up to the standard of their own.

Again very slow, at this rate he will be back in our Premiership before to much longer.

Tai Woffinden very slow in his first two rides.

The Birmingham promotion took plenty stick over lack of medical cover at the Berwick meeting, mostly justified. They deserve some credit for taking this action, and it does help with meetings continuing. For example last nights meeting at Berwick was able to continue after Leon Flint crashed and needed medical attention but because there was a second paramedic there the meeting kept going.

Leon Flint facing a spell out with a dislocated shoulder after an after race crash with team mate Theo Pijper last night at Berwick.

Leon Flint misses out tonight with a dislocated shoulder so R/R comes into play. Must win for Berwick.

Newcastle fans should feel satisfied with their teams efforts last night, decent meeting with passing on a tricky track. Lee Complin was excellent, obviously on a track he knows well, unlucky that the rules meant he missed HT 15. Hopefully Berwick get Kyle Bickley going soon and he can sort out his mechanical gremlins.
