The original App is still in use though.Dont see why it doesn’t work for you this season.Strange One.Hope you get it resolved.

I'll have a look on Saturday for the next meeting, so if i use the original app and password your saying the app should still work in theory

If you're using the BSN app, yes, if you're watching it on a TV web browser, no, BSN keep saying it's likely/probably/possible that if you're used to watching it on a TV browser it will not work for everybody this season until the new TV specific apps are released in May.

I watched the Worky match at the weekend, but not live, using the same setup as last year (TV browser) and it was fine, so I thought I was okay, but last night watching live, TV browser again, it crashed out twice, so I switched to watching it through my phone streamed/mirrored to my TV.

Think that must be the case,I watched on Original BSN App through my Apple TV Box and it was fine .Couple of blips but generally Ok and usual quality.

Like Iain B said don't think it'll work at present thru a smart tv web browser, there lies the problem for my parents atm anyway.

This is the main situation, there are so many TVs, software versions and other hardware it is impossible to say it will work on this tv or that tv. Many TV browsers cannot handle modern websites, the BSN website being built for the future is using the latest tech. Some TV browsers may work, in which case happy days, but if not casting or connecting from a laptop or phone is the best way, until the new apps arrive hopefully very soon.

On some other devices clearing your memory cache can help too, as basically they’re running out of memory.

The stream itself on Monday broadcasted out fine so far as I know though.

First 2 seasons of watching BSN through the tv browser, no issue whatsoever. Last year, constant problems with the event freezing through the TV browser (Sony TV, TV Bro app), although there was never an issue when watching reruns through the tv browser, only live meetings. For rest of the season continued watching with the laptop connected to the TV and no issues at all.

This season i have used the Amazon Silk browser through the firestick and so far on the 2 meetings broadcast, not a single hitch or glitch.

New fire sticks are stopping side loading and better off with a nvidia shield as far superior product.

What does that mean? I have been watching BSN on my TV via a Fire stick without much trouble.

Yeah like my elderly parents who upgraded their TV to a smart TV and also upgraded to superfast fibre to be able to watch BSN when it first came available 2 or 3 years ago, and now their stuck unable to watch it after paying out for a yearly pass, piss poor if you ask me, yeah its fine telling people they can cast/mirror it from a phone/tablet or HDMI cable it from a laptop but my parents who are 85 aint tech savvy and it is beyond them to figure out, even if i showed them how to do it they'd of forgotten by the time the next meeting came around, and i aint local enough to keep popping round every meeting to keep getting it set up for them🤨

I’m in the same boat - though not 85. I was happy with the way it worked, don’t have a tablet or a useable laptop and have never cast anything anywhere. So, after paying for the pass asked for and received (very quickly) a full refund.
BSN was very good, probably still is, but I don’t need the hassle especially when I can watch Polish speedway using my smart tv browser. Why change something that worked?

Can't you set a laptop (or nuc) up and remote in using something like team viewer to start the stream going? All they'd have to do is turn the laptop/nuc  on and switch the TV source to the required hdmi source?
