There's only really 1 top tier commentator with any Speedway knowledge and that is Darren Fletcher and there's no way he's going to lower his sights to Speedway! I suppose the other option would be Dave Rowe (2nd tier) and while he's knowledgeable you get the impression that his face doesn't fit as surely he'd have been given a chance by now. 

I'd take Dave Rowe or Dave Goddard as lead commentator in a heartbeat.

Yup …..I heard that too …..will the pair of them still be commentatingremotely for the Final. ? It’s really amateur with audio out of sync , graphics wrong, scores incorrect . I don’t know what feed of  info they get from trackside, but it clearly distracts Tatum more than Louis.

Pretty sure he was interviewed on BSN and he said it wasn't pronounced Nail.

Indeed he did.  He also said "nothing teaches you like riding abroad & getting a hiding", GB guys rode as well as they could, got a good heat win in their last ride, will defo learn from the experience & so do better next time.  Regarding Lambert apparently not recognising PC, Ivan once made an unannounced & unintroduced visit to the Hull pits, Craven Park era 2000 or so, after talking to all the riders one was heard to remark "who was that bloke & what does he know about speedway ?!".  As it happens, Ivan knew quite a bit about speedway😉....

For me the concern is not what it says on the hat (before I put my specs on I read it as 'f***ing pervert') - but the fact that it suggests the broadcaster care so little about the product that they are leaving the production  to the youth experience kid.

I don't think the Lukes are as bad riders as there scores suggest, Jake Mulford was also hopelessly outclassed in the SGP2 this season, they're all riding 500cc Speedway machines, and Mulford is a World Champion in another discipline, so the only conclusion I can come to is it's all about "setup" a word we seem to hear more than any other in modern day Speedway... maybe instead of the army of hangers on in the Team GB setup they should have a "setup" expert

Pawekczak looks the real deal at16 .Very controlled and stylish.Did they say he was only 16 -2 weeks ago.?

There is least 1/2 doz exciting Poles though.

They are not bad riders,they were just outclassed.Speedway in Europe is a different ballgame to GB at that level.

If it were not for the bizarre exclusion earlier Poland would surely have been on the rostrum ?

Thats what I dislike about refs - inconsistency.

Think your missing the point about Ziske bike being damaged and not given time to fix,it was clear on TV there was a dispute about it,although Kelvin never mentioned anything.Perhaps that’s why the Ref was lenient.It pretty obvious that NONE of the riders thought the time clock was on.
