When he won, he came right past us with our Ipswich scarfs waving and nodded so he knew he had some support at least! Lastly, I’ve been to Gorzow GP the last three years and this year was noticeable that hardly any English fans bothered travelling. I remember seeing lots of Leicester and Sheffield fans with their tops last year but only saw two families with Bewley and that’s it. It’s easy to say that the stadium was a smaller crowd but when other countries fans don’t turn up either it does show. Even very small lindgren and danish fans to my shock. I only heard a lot of German (probably due to how close). I wonder why even foreign fans aren’t travelling anymore?

I'm now officially offended to hear language like that on a family show. 😂

And you think Poland don’t have issues with money? Yet they still come to Manchester which is a much more expensive trip than English people to travel to Poland. English people find money to go on holidays and football matches and even Manchester GP so if they really wanted to they could save and go. Enough* said. 1

To be honest mate many people dont even go to their local tracks anymore let alone ones abroad i can remember 4- 5 figure attendences for all tracks at one time, couldnt believe it when one estimate at Birmingham reckoned about 500 well short of semi pro football clubs, the decline is really sad speedway at Premiership level especially is hanging by a thread. Be interesting to look at British speedway in the sixties and seventies and how it slowly declined to what we have today and compare it to where Poland was then and what it has become today. Absolutely clueless. Thomsens exclusion is possibly the worst decision I have ever seen. She should have her ref license revoked and banned from every speedway stadium in the world. Why blame the fact that she is female for a decision like that? Do you think that every female watching that thought that Thomsen was at fault?

Does it on purpose ? Or just the way he speaks usually ? The way this forum jumps on him, anybody would think most speedway fans don't swear. It's not as socially unacceptable as it used to be. Kids of junior school age do it, so why shouldn't a grown man ? What makes me laugh is all the Ipswich fans who got so wound up about his comments on the mic after the 2023 playoff final, but somehow they all missed Doyle giving both middle fingers as he went up onto the podium for his losers medal. I can only assume most of them had already done what he suggested. 😉
