Paul starke could be making way for cairns.

I’d be tempted to, but it would need to have another rider making way to make it worth while, spend the extra couple points to upgrade the team elsewhere. Whether that be Ritchings Kerr or Thompson. Although there’s a chance that Cairns will make the team challengers on his own if it is the expected straight swap

What a struggle for Poole that was can’t believe how poor they are this season compared to seasons gone by

The number 7 looked like he had a good night but only beat the opposition reserves who are the poorest in the league possibly …. Still a wins a win

At east they won Gavan unlike last Thursday😀

Struggle, or just equal opposition ?

As I said a win is a win

and yes we had our number 1 missing and a reserve averaging over 8 so wasn’t going to be easy

thing is Poole fans think they have a divine right to win every week but this year the team isn’t good enough … cairns may change that

At least the Poole fans have some excitement of close results this season .

Kerrey and Starkey   have both been around long enough to show why they are where they are in their speedway careers?. Seems the boy Cookie is missing his brother this season ?

Both Foordie and Hagger have shown some form since leaving.

Poole problem is they can’t afford Cook and Kerr to be as inconsistent as they’ve been as they got no cover at reserve as Starke isn’t even as good as awful.

Still confused what Poole saw in Starke for this year. He must've talked a very good game, because it's a long time since he showed one.

Poole's problem is that Cook is too consistent, consistently off the pace. As already covered, Starke is exactly what it said on the can, maybe a little more based on his GSA. Kerr is debatable but I personally like seeing him race, and he definitely has potential.

Entertaining meeting with some good racing. Pick of the heats was heat 6. Cluff gated, but was picked off by Thomsen and Lawson. Then Barker spend a lap catching and on lap 4 went around both pirates on bends one and two. Excellent race.

The victory was never really in doubt but not helped by Cook having a stinker and Kerr being easily 5-1’d by Trigger and Thompson in heat 14.

Lawson and Rowe excellent. Rowe should be at number 5, no doubt about it. Tobias riding well and dropped points when his wrist cable came off. Special mention to Richings. 7 paid 8. Never expected that. Riding far better than Starke.

He was signed as a second string on a 5 point average, hardly comparable.

He was signed to ride at reserve, if he was signed as a second string that’s where he’d be.

You were the one that claimed the Poole reserves are better than a guy averaging almost 10. Obviously been a long day for you.

At least you can see that Zach is getting there, Kerr seems to start ok but goes backwards. Anders was terrific again.
