Asked how he started working at Pirates, the track specialist told the Daily Echo: “It was towards the end of last season, there were a few problems. Hey guys, Just wanted to update everyone on how Danyon is doing, unfortunately Danyon has fractured his back in two places and we are now awaiting further updates from the doctor as to whether or not Danyon needs surgery. We would both like to thank everyone, all Berwick management, the track staff, ambulance crew, our friends, family and all the fans at Berwick speedway, everyone rallied around and helped with everything.
