Asked how he started working at Pirates, the track specialist told the Daily Echo: “It was towards the end of last season, there were a few problems. The SCB initially sent me down and we sorted it.

Terry was sent to inspect track.

Matt asked him to take on the remedial work which was amusing as the track guy at the time wasn't impressed

The bumps may have gone but it's still a poorly prepared race track that offers little entertainment.

No worries :t:I was just using Poole 2021 as an example with the original question about if SCB can get involved.

Mr Blobby the first person to complain all season about Berwick’s track having holes on the entrances to the bends, funnily enough against Edinburgh, after he defended the state of the Poole track, who were they against again? Oh…

Well I’m not going to be at Berwick unless Edinburgh are there am I.

So you thought the track was okay for the first half of meeting did you? Or you just hurting your head in the sand or holes in this case?

Update via Danyon Hume Racing.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to update everyone on how Danyon is doing, unfortunately Danyon has fractured his back in two places and we are now awaiting further updates from the doctor as to whether or not Danyon needs surgery.
We would both like to thank everyone, all Berwick management, the track staff, ambulance crew, our friends, family and all the fans at Berwick speedway, everyone rallied around and helped with everything.
Obviously the news isn’t what we want but we are thinkings positive at the moment.
Thanks again everyone.

Best wishes to Danyon - really nice fella and horrible to hear of his injury! I hope a full recovery is made.
