What like Poole fans sit in their wooden cranky seats with tartan rugs over their knees waving phone lights to sweet Caroline pathetic and cringeworthy 🤣🤣🤣

If I  ever start singing sweet caroline, I hope they take me away in Ambulance.

Ok let's remove the if.  I absolutely can confirm 100%, that even with Lidsey riding and winning his first 2 races, it would not in anyway changed the fact we could use Kurtz as an R/R in heat 7. 😀

Kurtz was a tac sub in heat 7 we couldn't use kurtz as RR Because his average to high to use for RR

We will never know the result if Lidsey had ridden.

Nobody could have predicted what did happen last night.

Race the same match tonight with the same teams and you'll get a different result.

Some Ipswich fans were definite in predicting they would have won the title last season without the injuries, as i always said nothing in sport is nailed on, bit like calling this seasons title the vulture cup as Woffy would have given Sheffield the scoring power at home to beat any other side over 2 legs 😉

Yeah Belle Vue have passed the transfer cut-off date now.

They were never gonna find a better RS than Mulford, but I did wonder how long they would give Zischke?

On one hand I admire them for giving him time & not dropping him, but on the other hand think "you dropped Mountain last year, when he didn't do any worse"

Mark Lemon favouring Aussies maybe? Although if you go by Champ from Zischke had improved for Workington, but not happening for Belle Vue (so far).

Thanks S.

Have kept thinking Zischke will improve as the season has gone on but it hasn't really happened. As we are in touch of the playoffs both reserves will have to up their game if BV are to have any chance of retaining the League title.

Enjoyed watching Workington last year (on BSN) and had high hopes for both Zischke and Voulas but both riders don't seem to have moved forward.

And it was a drawn heat anyway . If they have to persist with this ridiculous extra heat at least they should keep going until they have a heat advantage. Can't understand why the thought of a drawn meeting is such an horrific outcome.

As an Ipswich fan I want us to win absolutely

The superheat last night was a good race and whatever team you support it was a masterclass from Doyle

However with a speedway head on …. Neither team deserved to lose … a draw is fine

I think you mean T/S. as you can tell, I prefer no to do "ifs", even so, if Lidsey had ridden, it would have been a different match, and we will never know the heat results of at the very least the heats he rode in - if you want to have ifs, you can't assume everything else remained the same ...

Very up and down this year for worky, yes some flashes of improvement then some very bad last places, looks down on power especially round belle Vue

The big question this morning ! Forget the fantastic racing at times last evening. What will the SCB do about Mr Nicholls ? They might be asking questions to the referee and the Clerk of the course and maybe Phil Morris as well.

Why ? The SCB don't seem to be interested in a major safety issue at Poole last week,

Good meeting for the tele. A few too many follow the leader heats for me but given their popularity it was nice to have for viewers at home.

No Jaimon meant we missed out on a narrow and not convincing victory. Brady scoring 11 from 7 rides can - we hope, only be a blip. I think it’s taken him the whole season up to then to drop that amount of points around the NSS.

Norick a bit off his usual scoring but nothing to write home about and once again when our reserves contribute little then we cannot seem to compensate and tbh any points they get it a bonus so we NEED to compensate if we are to succeed. Zach is riding over and above and the reality is we should be reaping the benefits from his performance and not be using it to help us scrape home. A few tactical gaffs from Mark did not help the cause either. Pulling back 14 points over nine races gives me some heart for the play offs as we will no doubt need that level of performance but over the full 15 when they arrive.

Lots for both sets of fans to feel good about and with a satisfied armchair audience it was overall a great night for the sport.
