mikebv
Leicester have lost RR for Becker... With that, I had them favourites for the title... Without it, Ipswich or Sheffield will comfortably beat then over two legs..

It is only Becker's 2nd match back after a very lengthy layoff... plenty more matches for him to get race fit before the pay offs (Polish club permitting)

Gavan
Leicester heat leaders 14 races and 11 wins and a paid second Ipswich heat leaders 15 races and 1 win King and Ellis get 3 between them I will take an 8 point loss
ShanoXtra
Poor showing for a team who are meant to be the best in the league. Emil and Brennan didn’t get one win between them (Brennan rode the track perfect for the cup final) number one getting 6 points, king getting 0, Ellis with 3. Our reserves the only two who can come away from that thinking they done well. Anyone think that’s a good result to take to foxhall be reminded Leicester can ride our track and you’re being naive, we need to step up more than that if we are to win the league. Can we be that bad again at Leicester? And last time at Foxhall we won by 18 and Fricke got 16 for them On that basis 8 points isn’t the worst However well done Leicester they are a good strong unit … be a travesty if this isn’t the final

For the league 1 point for bonus is acceptable but I can see us doing this in one of the play off matches and losing it completely, we are far to hit and miss at the moment, Emil and Doyle are even at it this year which is very concerning… I had no confidence in heat 13 or 15 tonight, contrasting from the last few years. The meeting was great to watch though and the parents went and said a good atmosphere as well…another one which should have been on TV to get people enjoying the sport but missed! Easily the best two teams away from home and do not rely on throttle jockeys. 1

TTT
Full credit to Leicester and they should do the double this year and well deserved it will be. Ipswich just aren't right at all this year, I really don't know what's happend to Doyley and Emil but they've both gone backwards. It was the reserves who got Ipswich to the top of the table and now they've lost one of them and JJ may not find his early season form again for the rest of 2025 when he does return.

As good as Leicester are I think some Ipswich fans are over reacting We lost by 8 tonight but won the home fixture by 18 …. 10 point win on aggregate We lost at home to Leicester earlier in the season when we had no Doyle or Thompson and still won on aggregate by 4 I’m certainly not saying we will definitely win over 2 legs but I still don’t see Leicester as favourites against us based on performances so far this season I do hope this is the final though as it will be good close racing and close in the scores

Maybe the team will be left with riders staying at the same numbers? Every time Ipswich have moved the riders about it's backfired (Sheffield and Kings Lynn spring to mind).

Leicester can only get stronger once Becker settles back in.

That’s absolutely nuts. We’ve taken the aggregate bonus off them in both rounds of fixtures, the second round overwhelmingly so, and we’ll finish above them in the league. But they’ll suddenly beat us over two legs in a final (if we both get there), and they’ll also deserve it? Put the crack pipe down.
