stevebrum
Such a great advert for speedway, both teams really wanting it and good cut throat racing. Was certainly better than the bland ippo/aces affair. Well done the Lions but a great effort from the Tigers. Spoilt brat jack inability to do his job cost his team big time.

That's what you get when you have riders of the right mindset, and let's not forget they were apparently racing on the worst track in the country (as we are reminded on a regular basis). Congratulations to Leicester (and Ipswich) on reaching the final. Be good for the sport to have a new name on the trophy for a change! Absolutely this! It also confirms why playoff speedway will be here to stay this is by far one of the few meetings that all the TV viewers seem to have liked / enjoyed / loved!
ShanoXtra
Sheffield will no doubt have a comment to make after Thursday, I’m sure they will beat us in the remaining league matches thus making the play offs another shambles. They then should have faced Belle Vue and Ipswich vs Leicester would have been tonight. The comments about “this is play off speedway” but nobody mentions two years in the row it’s been chosen and not finished on track?
Bagpuss
I think the weather probably helped with the racing last night too. While meetings later in the season can mean wet and cold tracks it can also help get a bit more moisture in the base, the surface was pretty much perfect last night for most of the meeting with enough grip for those who wanted to use it. Wasn't slick and dusty and the racing reflected that. Really looking forward to the two legs of the final, hopefully both sides are at full strength amd the dreaded guests can be avoided.

They're all over on the Brady Kurtz 2025 World Champion topic thread celebrating his... oh hang on 🤔 I've got to say that was the toughest, most closely fought match I've seen over both legs for quite some time, something that many over on the Polish topic threads say we just don't see over here in the UK! Both teams left it all out on the track unlike in the other semi. I do wish Lions wouldn't celebrate like they've won the league when they qualify for the final, they did this last year and you then look rather silly when you don't turn up in the final. Yes, be happy but it gives off an air of job done for me, where the job is far from done... same again in the final please.

SJA
Last night was my 58th meeting of the season. I have been to all Premiership and Championship tracks at least once. Fifth time at Leicester this season (4 prem, 1 NDL) and I have to say its a very enjoyable experience, decent racing, which the track very rarely gets the credit for, decent views all around the stadium and nice staff. Well done Leicester in making the final and well done to the track curator for another good nights racing.

It's also the captain's responsibility to be interviewed as well.

ShanoXtra
Stead and Picko still commenting about last week as if it has lost them the meeting is slightly on the side of sore losers. -Holder touched the tapes and got excluded - Sheffield fault -Flint laying the bike down and getting and Fricke excluded - Sheffield fault and they gained from it -Heat 13 / 15 Sheffield just outdone by better riders. - Sheffield fault -Heat 14 moaning about 5-0 and unjust but fail to mention Nick Morris crashed on his own (so highly chance they would have been 5-1 down anyway) - Sheffield fault. -Luke Becker’s chain broke on a 5-1 which would have finished the meeting earlier than best 15. If Sheffield would have won, I don’t believe Leicester would have be so sour even though they are just as unjustly done. Sometimes just admit your riders weren’t as good as your opponents and move on. I can see the sourness and bitterness turning into an absolute tear up and potential for fireworks (not the good kind) on Thursday. I also expect someone to come out of that meeting injured. Flint scoring 0 probably had something to do with them losing but that hasn’t been mentioned. Looking forward to your detailed unbiased review of the meeting. 🤔 Of course, if your riders want to stay safe they can always just ride round at the back. That way they might also lower their averages and then you can keep your 'all conquering' team together for next season.😉
