Oh get over yourself- the attitude of an handful of Ipswich fans on this form has been pathetic over last couple of years- constantly hounded about our track, fans and riders and giving a dig at every opportunity even when their teams aren't involved in it. Do I think most fans want to see Sheffield open? Absolutely. but with way the club has been lambasted by some i also feel there's some that would relish seeing the demise of the club i support. I'll leave it there. If people agree or disagree I don't care anymore. Outside speedway I'm a Wednesday fan so seeing both clubs you support potentially go to the wall is pretty draining. Don't be so bloody thin skinned. Some of the criticism has been justified. The track for instance has been publicly criticised by your own damn riders for christ sake.

I don’t know why you would think Ipswich fans would want you to go under, just because people have strong feelings on matches etc it’s all part of being a fan of a sport. The sport is what holds this community together so anyone would be stupid to want any club to go under whether you love the other club or it’s your rival. Personally, I hope you find a buyer ASAP so you can have sufficient time to plan for next year. Everybody wants strong teams to fight against. Good luck!
GiveusaB
Been saying Tolley since last May....can only assume its why he full-filled B'ham's fixtures? You'd better hope he doesn't employ 'Rogers'! Musielak a nailed on signing! Any other rider would've been sacked last season after his sh#t show! siggysigalos
Ipswich fan here, and i definitely wouldn't want to see Sheffield Shut down, or any other track for that matter. Had many a good night at Sheffield watching the Witches(Not going tonight though, as it is sadly a pointless fixture), i agree with Phil the Ace though, someone will come in and take it on, and it would not surprise me it's Mr Tolley. You're 100% wrong for one simple reason, If British Speedway collapses due to a lack of teams then every club goes with it. Nobody wants to see Sheffield go under, 1 Less Club = 1 Step Closer to British Speedway closing for good and nobody wins in that scenario. Wollyhat
One name that hasn't been mentioned is Chris Van stratten. He hasn't had a high profile since wolves closed so i wonder if he still wants to be involved? Wolves always seemed to be a well run club. But as a tigers supporter since 1967 I would just like to thank the Bates family and Driller man for some fantastic times and hope thet they will not be lost to the sort forever.

You never know I suppose but I'd be amazed if CVS were interested in promoting elsewhere. He's getting on a bit now and I wouldn't even be sure he'd come back as Wolves promoter

Dangerous track - the most dangerous track in the league Riders - Jack Holder is easily dislikable the others are fine Manager - awful attitude and excuse maker… then again I can’t say ours at Ipswich is much better Fans - can’t tar you all with the same brush but your fans are the worst by a mile , the play off final 2023 seeing supposed grown men verbally abusing young kids is disgraceful and no not every track is the same Closure - how ever much fans dislike your club no real speedway fan wants to see any club close Hope that helps
