Pirates Of Poole Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM Danny said on Friday that he was very happy and excited about the 2026 team and 6 out of 7 riders in place but one massive hole to fill for the 7th rider.
LisaColette Posted yesterday at 11:02 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 11:02 PM Gotta love it when Plymouth fans are worried about the Poole team. 😄😄😄 Plans must be going well.

Nicholls and King makes for an interesting heat 15, whether that leaves enough for a balanced team is the question? Surely Plymouth fans will always be worried by what Poole have?! *"&-

I think Poole will obviously be good but I don’t think many teams are gunna fear them as much as previous years. I think this could be the weakest Poole team put out for a while potentially, on the flip I think it could be one of the stronger Plymouth teams for a while. so should make for some good meetings. Besides we didn’t lose at home to you last year.

It looks like Plymouth will be stronger which is good for them and the Championship.

I suspect Lawson, Kerr, Rowe, Cairns & Rushen are locked in and they wanted Bowes & Bailey to join them but one of them have foreign commitments which means it cant happen. Not sure which, probably Bailey with his Wednesday stuff in Denmark.
Pirates Of Poole
Listening to Danny on Friday it sounds like the club would benefit from a commercial manager who would work to bring in fresh sponsors and money.

Despite my misgivings about Kerr I think with his average it would be foolish to let him go elsewhere also love to have Nick Morris in the team but I doubt that will happen.

Pirates Of Poole
With Danny talking about a big hole to fill on Friday, I presume he means Zach. Which with the new 1 over 8 rule this will leave Poole short on the 2/3 heat leader position as riders like Howarth and Kemp will be in high demand. 1. Lawson 9.59 2. Bailey 4.00 3. Stevie Worrall 6.80 4. Kerr 6.77 5. Morris 6.86 6. Cairns 3.81 7. Copper 2.

Just looking at options, Nothing official on the Stevie Front and Anders, with a young team maybe a more wise head would help in the pits, following Danny's comments on Friday about Anders Temper in the bits at times during the season. Also Danny's comments about 'being let down' by 2 riders Rowe and Starke who didn't show on Friday, which I'm sure won't help the situation. Starke I could understand as probably first rider shown the exit door for 2026. Rowe I am a bit surprised. his no show and Danny Could his temper have been linked to the frustration of his groin injury holding back his progress/consistency ?? Even so I hope no major falling out as a very good rider if he can sort out his injury. Still can't understand that with all the people there Friday incl Zach Cook that the question of Zach possibly not riding in Champ next season was not put to bed. Is he sworn to secrecy or something as I would have thought that was the obvious question everyone would have asked. I also thought I saw on the Forum he was supposed to have been flying back to Aussie within a couple of days of season ending. Also with Danny there one would have thought the question of IF the BSPA AGM was still on for this Wed after a good few Forum comments mentioned it could have been postponed ranging from 30/11 to early January. Not even the British Speedway site has mentioned an AGM date.

TTT
Rowe signed a 2 Year Deal so I think Danny was referring to a replacement for Zach Cook.

I’m sure if somethings happened behind the scenes and he’s not gone to the awards and Danny has come out and said that then it sounds like they’ve parted ways, and Poole could put a stop to that like any club could.
