What purpose could he have for a company called Poole Motorsports? Who knows, but I'd be astonished if he built a replacement stadium for Poole Speedway

Lewis is also part of his team working on the destruction of the Abbey and was at the public consultation for Studley Grange.

 

He also worked with Osborne at MK and Torquay...

That is why Poole Speedway and BCP need to be on their toes, they are preparing the ground work.

Osborne and Lewis are both Directors of Steel Life Group.

 

Also, are you aware they set up a 2nd Poole Motorsports company in September this year? Poole Motorsports (No2) LTD.

This one has Osborne and Lewis in it, whereas the original Poole Motorsports was Osborne only.

Yes and that’s a worry, how many clubs have they been involved in and been on council planning hearings. Reading, Swindon, Birmingham, Coventry and Poole - my message would be, you come for Poole but you will be up against one hell of a fight, we won’t be push overs. We need to keep winning trophies and be well supported, get a commercial manager in place and attract some big money sponsors.

Plus Milton Keynes and Torquay United. They'll play every card going, so it's critical to get Council and MP hearts and minds on your side and paint a very clear picture of their back-story.

Sounds very similar to Swindon. Only key difference is council own land the stadium is on. Fingers crossed can keep them on side.

This will be all part of the story that'll be fed to the Council when the time comes, regarding sourcing a new 'home for the Pirates'!!

Incidentally, in the recent 'Call for sites' by BCP Council to come up with its revised Local Plan (the original being turned down by the Local Government Office!), The Poole Stadium site was one of 118 sites (yes, 118!) suggested for possible development, This was a development suggestion by Cala Homes for 200+ homes!!

This process will take some time eg. 3-4 years, even assuming the Council accept the proposal and include it specifically in the next Local Plan submissions.

In the meantime Danny Ford is predicting a far more 'open' Championship in 2026 and he is 'excited' at the 1-7 he is looking at - even better than the 'strength-in-depth 7' in 2025!!

Incidentally in his latest Echo interview today there is the suggestion that the BSN series will be an early season competition!

Yes with Hans Neilsen's Brovst team joining the Danish top league it's a no brainer for TVT, and as we know with Danish fixtures on Wednesdays, Poole was no longer an option despite as he says in his fb video Poole wanting him back.

He's also signed up in Sweden and signed his UK contract (4.81) too - probably given to him by Garry May in the Poole pits eh Lewy?😉🤣

With Toby saying Poole wanted him back, my thinking at the moment is that 

Lawson Bowes Kerr Zach Cooper Cairns is the 6 signed up. Leaves just under 5 points which was perhaps the Toby gap? Maybe Poole now hoping Beau Bailey will sign on a 4?

I don’t think there would be any sort of panic if it’s just a case of replacing Tobias. Lots of riders available between a 4 and 5 point average

Tobias has been great particularly come a final (I even went so far as getting him a full size Danish flag to show him he was was loved at Poole) but right now he is his GSA, and now really is the time to part ways. We (Poole) now(for 26) need somebody who gives good value for their GSA with potential for great improvement.

So long Tobias, thanks for a job well done, good luck in the future (but not against the Pirates), but remember 24/25 were probably your golden year's mate.
