Hopefully Kerr is better than last season, really let us down at times and against Redcar in the BSN final.

Good signing on 6.77 He more than made up for the BSN final in the play-offs and KO Cup. Yes he rode well in those, dont know what happened against Redcar, I know he has a soft spot for Redcar but really poor from him that night and quite a few other nights. Bagpuss Posted yesterday at 08:48 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 08:48 PM No brainer signing with such a young bottom end.

Yes I did think with his improved form towards end of season we should retain him but then the Redcar meeting happened and not too sure but on his current average probably worth a punt. Well good news for you, as well as kerr, you've got Bowes to watch, very up and down for us last season, least said about his 2 performance's at Edinburgh the best, yes he scored well for worky's visit, but when he guested for Glasgow? only scored 2 points. Enjoy, I will look forward to your rants 🙃

I thought he would be Oxford Bound. but if it is the Rumoured Zach(or Anders on similar ave) and Rushen. That would leave just shy of 4.9 which Gilkes would fill nicely. would Prefer Beau Bailey but I don’t think that’s realistic. Would happily have Gilkes at 2. His injury was a huge factor in Oxfords poor season

The way your predictions have been working out, Oxford probably announce him tomorrow morning! 41 minutes ago, foreverblue said: Yes I did think with his improved form towards end of season we should retain him but then the Redcar meeting happened and not too sure but on his current average probably worth a punt. You can't not sign someone based on one meeting in the whole season on a wet track imo.

szkocjasid Posted yesterday at 10:38 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:38 PM I think Kerr is a better signing now, than he was a year ago. Last year his starting average was higher than his 2024 average, so it wasn't a surprise to see it drop. Of course I still expected him to do better than he ended up doing. This year he has scope to improve his average, especially if you look at his average for the 4 play-offs meetings (8.94). I wouldn't say he was a brilliant signing, but could prove to be an astute signing, especially as I can't see his average dropping any more.

The track only became wet at the end of the meeting. I am sure he was trying as much as Thomsen but it just didnt look like it. Glasgow have the money and Oxford overpaid to have Boughen apparently (according to their fans) as an asset so not really that surprising! There are riders that i can see clubs overpaying for but Rowe shouldn't be one of them. Edited 16 hours ago by LisaColette
