Steve Shovlar
Shame for Bowes who tried to come back too early after injuring himself last winter, fell and hurt himself again, then tried to come back too early and was clearly in pain. There’s a talent there but he hasn’t had a chance to show it. The best bet is time out to make a full recovery. Best of luck to the lad. Bleeds Pirate Blue
Throw the chequebook at Beau Bailey time. I rate him above both Cairns and Rushden...

Pirates have til their next meeting on 15th July (assuming England aren't in the World Cup semi final that day) to source a suitable replacement. They have longer than that, I believe the rules would let them use guests for the remainder of the season, not that I'd expect them to do that of course. szkocjasid
Shame for Bowes, never like to see any rider get injured, but this is now an opportunity for Poole to replace their weakest rider, while maintaining their "morals" of not dropping a struggling rider! Gilkes replacing Bowes when he regained fitness would've been their best option, I always said it should be Gilkes vs Bowes for the team spot as Newman had done a good job when he came in. Now I think Lasse Fredriksen could be worth a shot, wasn't doing great at Berwick, but he'd ne at reserve for Poole, so could only expect his scores to improve. Tobias Thomsen would be my first pick if he's gonna be fot enough, could always wait for him to recover & use guests in the meantime? Think I'd prefer to keep Beau Bailey for 2027 (on a lower average) rather than him come in now & raise it up. Team should be good enough to win the double without him. I think Beau would potentially deem himself too good for Championship next season? unless he does Chanpionship and the prem. Beau would be my first choice, then maybe Toby if 100%? Or a new rider is always exciting
Marky_Mark
Jason Garrity? Average fits and Havvy was supposedly trying to help him make a comeback and get a team place? Edited 2 hours ago by Marky_Mark

Or a new rider is always exciting Think Bailey has now earned first choice over a young Dane in his Danish Team, so Wed may be an issue on fixture clashes plus he can get 5/6 rides per meeting in their 6 man teams. He now has POL U24 every other Tue I think. DK Wed - Also now qualified for the SGP 2 finals which I believe are another 3 meetings. would love to see him over here but more likely in 2027 as both Prem & Champ will want him and would not surprise me if its B.Vue & Poole who share his services. Especially considering the Poole/B.Vue rider connection the last 5 plus years. Edited 8 minutes ago by STEVEHOLS54 typo
