Unfortunately did not turn 16 till after the various Aussie championships, don't know if he has any long lost UK relative, but from what I've seen ,only on video over winter and pre season, looks a very good prospect

Think we are in for an exciting season Comets fans. craig and tate rode well together in 2024 so maybe a good order at home maybe switch craig to 5 away if batch not on form but think he will be ok
Neila
I think the team picks it's self especially at home, 1. Jonas. 2. Niklas. 3. Cookie 4 Tate. 5. Batch. 6. Jammie. 7. Vinnie maybe swap 3/4 and 6/7 away from home

Viv still at school I believe and is returning home in the next few days. He won't have seen a Comets meeting if Saturdays meeting is postponed due to the weather. Last time he came over with Tate pre/ early season the weather was dry and sunny virtually the whole time, been a bit different on this occasion. Not sure he competed in any of the State Titles. H20
Weekend P&P cancelled plus 1st meeting so going to be a while until our 1st meeting as the track is being used next week for them Flat Track racing events on Saturday and Sunday.
CTD26
I get the flat track will bring extra revenue in, but surely giving them a date this early into our new season is a bit of a brain fart. Everyone knows the weather at the start of the season is horrendous up here, so why not keep it a free weekend on the off chance?

Because a bird (the flat-trackers' rental payment) in the hand is worth a couple (the rain-off possibility) in the bush......

By renting out the track and potentially profit on food and drink keeps the Comets alive 😀 annoying but the club needs extra money away from speedway

Yea maybe not a spectator thing, but the flat track organiser rents the stadium for ££s but organises everything else, the running and insurance etc, so it must be a good money earner for the home promotion
SteelShoe
Hopefully we get some better weather this week and we can get Press and Practice in. Personally i'm itching to see our 7 out on track in the new club kevlars which I have heard good things about. Should be some really competetive meetings this season. Neila
Forecast for Friday at Redcar looks good so far . Just hope I can find some extra money to buy some fuel to get over 😜. UTC 🏁
