Viv Muddle has just turned 16, so he'll be looking to join the other teenage Aussie prospects here, or in Europe like Beau Bailey    Has he got UK partiality -- l don't think he's got a State Title qualification for a visa?

Unfortunately did not turn 16 till after the various Aussie championships, don't know if he has any long lost UK relative, but from what I've seen ,only on video over winter and pre season, looks a very good prospect

Viv still at school I believe and is returning home in the next few days. He won't have seen a Comets meeting if Saturdays meeting is postponed due to the weather. Last time he came over with Tate pre/ early season the weather was dry and sunny virtually the whole time, been a bit different on this occasion.

Not sure he competed in any of the  State Titles.

I get the flat track will bring extra revenue in, but surely giving them a date this early into our new season is a bit of a brain fart. Everyone knows the weather at the start of the season is horrendous up here, so why not keep it a free weekend on the off chance?

Because a bird (the flat-trackers' rental payment) in the hand is worth a couple (the rain-off possibility) in the bush......

By renting out the track and potentially profit on food and drink keeps the Comets alive 😀 annoying but the club needs extra money away from speedway
