I agree with the suggestions that Trigger & Perry would strengthen the Comets team. While it seems incredibly harsh on Etherington, it's nothing to do with his form, more a case of the step up coming too early in his speedway career.

Is he can knock in maximums in the National League, I'm sure he'd get more chances in the Champ.

If it swelled up more or less straight away and in quite a bit of pain, bet it's ligaments, had exactly the same at moto cross a long time ago, did take a long time to sort of mend so obviously hope it's not that for Vinnie.

Would imagine he’ll be out for a couple of months maybe, but doesn’t require surgery

Great it doesn't require surgery and fingers crossed it's a straight foward 'heal' with no other damage.
