SteelShoe Posted 3 hours ago Report Share Posted 3 hours ago (edited) When Max Perry rode for Leicester Lions Cubs when Comets joined the NDL in 2023 I had him down as a rider who had the qualities to go further eg good on the bike, a trier all the way to the flag with a bit of a racing instinct. Somehow he seems to have lost his way having been dropped by Poole very quickly in 2024 and then what was probably a pressure year in 2025 at Glasgow who were chasing silverware on more than one front. Many people consider him a weak reserve after his last two seasons but I would certainly be inclined to give him a chance if a like for like replacement for Jamie Etherington is being sought. Oh and just out of interest his scores for Glasgow at Berwick lsst season were 8 in the BSN and 9 in the Championship, granted he never repeated those feats often enough.
