No issue  just didn't realise the 2.5%reduction for brits was still applicable.thought it was only for team building for start of the season. Live and learn, how long is cook out for mate or has he done one of his disappearing acts?

Apparently the lesser spotted cook has been having oxygen tank treatment to help recovery hopefully back for the weekend to beat Plymouth 😜

JD said he's having a scan on his interview (tomorrow I think) can't see him riding the weekend especially at Armadale unfortunately.

Klindt would be a mighty fine guest though 😆

Redcar might be a little upset as he should be riding for them at home to Poole !!

His form is diabolical at times. Good luck getting the right Klindt on the day.

He really enjoys the GT Tyres Arena and when in the mood which he has been on every visit so far I would back him to beat anyone in the Championship even if he didn't make it to the first corner in front.

Kye Thomsen seems to have stepped up again this season, could also prove an inspired choice.

Hi all,

I hope this is okay to post as a comment in here.

I know many of you may have known my father as Jenga / j20hh. He sadly passed away recently after battling with various illnesses the last couple of months, but I know he was fairly active on here, and I thought it would be fitting to log into this account to announce it.

I'm aware he was a bit of a marmite character on these forums, but he was on here exactly how he was in real life, a windup merchant with bad grammar. It's been fascinating to look back through his posts and comments, and more so the replies from other people.

I can only apologise if he aggravated any of you with his comments, but know that they've brought a grieving son a great deal of joy, to have an online archive of my Dad just trying his best to wind people up over a sport he loved. Speedway and Workington Comets were a huge part of my Dad's life, and a huge part of my childhood, I'm sure I'll have to get down to Northside to honour his memory soon.

If any of you happened to know him in real life, I'd be more than happy to pass on funeral details over a PM.

Thanks

Saddened to hear about the passing of your Dad. I didn't know him personally and often wondered he was because of his many posts. I certainly wondered what had happened to "Jenga' when his posts disappeared but soon came to realise he had reinvented himself as j20hh , the writing style was unmistakeable 😃. Sorry to see another Comets fan has gone to the speedway track in the sky and no doubt he will be keeping his eye on the forum !. You really must pay a visit he probably would have wanted you too. RIP 'Jenga'.

Any news on craig?

Missing again on Friday,  are we back to the usual Houdini Cook picking and choosing when he wants to ride? Been no real news on this ‘rotator cuff’ injury which has me a bit suspicious especially the way James talked about his absence over last weekend in interviews
