It's effectively a student ticket, but there's still a 64% increase on your 19th birthday... happy birthday! I'd still like to see a reduced price ticket for up to 24/25 year olds, that is the average age of people flying their parents nest in the UK and suggests they're not on a sound enough financial footing until that age. Last year we paid £24 and got a Ferrari, this year we'll pay £25 and get a TR7!

I would like to see a rule implemented where riders have to prioritise the own country as part of their licence requirements and that includes riding in British final and the governing body’s from each country work together for the good of world speedway to avoid clashes

The chat about how amateur the Northampton stuff has been is only compounded by a brand new promotion not being able to arrange their PnP when all their riders can be there. I don't blame TB he was signed before last season ended in Poland but surely dates were shared upon signing to make sure everyone was available for the official launch of their new business/team. Doesn't install a great deal of confidence.

To be fair to Poland though, they do put fixtures out well in advance, and yet the UK will still plan in meetings knowing riders are missing as they can happily just bring a guest in.... Or even sign riders knowing 100% that their already planned in calendar will mean they will be missing... Meaning so many guests end up being used which are not for injury cover... The British Final being arranged on a night when three meetings are already planned in is a perfect example that whatever "common sense" agreements exist, there will always be something the UK can end up doing which rolls eyes...
Aries
Rule one broken already. In all the years Louis has been promoting, no rider has ever missed press and practice and he would never allow it. Same kevlars as last year also, so cost cutting has already commenced where the returning riders recycle their kevlars from last year. They would do a Rune Holta and take out a polish licence

But they are all new suits for all riders just very similar design. You can tell by the 75 years anniversary logo on left chest on all not just the new guys. You can see it clearly on one of the pics of king. Mayfield wording also on arms.

Yes there is more yellow this year. Tom came yesterday to practice and have his pictures done as he couldn't get a flight out to Poland for after this morning photo's. Richard was at photo shoot but not practice as had to go to work.

TB was contracted to his Polish club well in advance of Ipswich and that is where the dollar can be earnt so naturally have to follow instructions. Tom did say on socials he was at Ipswich yesterday . As for the kevlars they look similar to last years but neat and tidy.
cowboy cookie returns?
I couldn’t attend last nights meet the riders due to other commitments, it would be interesting to know what was said by the new owners. I did however get up to Foxhall in the afternoon. Hellstrom Bangs looked quick & I think he is going to be entertaining great style. Tobias seemed very relaxed & happy. We all know what he can do when he feels settled. The others have all done more than enough laps around Foxhall so we know what they are about. I am optimistic about the season ahead especially given how late this all came together. The noise around Brennan not being there is amazing. The guy signed a contract in September for his polish club & their dates would have been in the diary months ago. Our press day would normally have been last week but again with the late completion of the take over there probably wasn’t a lot of choice. Lets get behind the club enjoy the speedway & hopefully this time next year we’ll have seen the fruits of Mayfields labour starting to pay off both locally & nationally. He's one of the most professional in the game over here, socials and the way he presents himself is always top notch. As I said, that Polish date would have been in the diary for months so to organise PnP as new owners on the day your no1 isn't there is just poor.
