The sport would be mad to allow those two to stay together... The real top talent, especially given so few can be arsed riding over here, needs to be shared around.... Either that... Or no one gets a GP rider/Emil and Laguta..

Would be great if we could keep Brady & Dan as it would have been to keep Max, Jaimon, Tom, Ben, Charles etc but at the end of the day there’s a bigger picture to look at. If our league can be healthier then all the better and that’s what we’re fighting for so if Coleman can come to the party I’m all for it. The streaming, the big screen, the tie in with a Polish club etc are the things that we need others to run with. We will prevail and we are always here for you. Like Ouch says above if it means a better all round sport either the top stars need sharing around proerly or like you say none!

ShanoXtra
Richard and Andrew are top guys. Speaking and listening to them and actually seeing they share similar concerns is such a positive thing to see, and that they understand the situation WE are in. And I say we because everyone on this forum is a speedway fan and this isn’t just a one up on other British teams, it’s a chance for us to pull this sport in the right direction. Let’s face it, people would be moaning if the same old same old was happening, it needs a change and these guys can actually do something about it. They can sit at a table and people can take note, they run a multimillion pound successful business in other sports, let them do their thing, give them time, and let’s hold our judgement until a few years time. British speedway in general should be happy this sort of stuff is taking place, and Ipswich fans shouldn’t be gloating about anything, we as fans should support other clubs too and try and really build this sport. OK maybe we won’t support kings Lynn but still 😉 I also like that they see a clear vision on what needs to happen, not just saying what people want to hear but speak clearly on what they plan to do. PS Mr Coleman if you read this one, good luck 🤞🏻 we have a real good captain at the helm it appears!
PhilTheAce
So what is his vision. Whatever it is. Good luck to him. Hes going to need it And I dont mean that negatively but when the sport was in much better shape and sandu and frost had a vision. Look what happened there. I think personally, and not speaking on anyone’s behalf nor was this mentioned tonight, but the likes of Belle Vue, Leicester and maybe King Lynn are with Ipswich… they see where this needs to go… let’s say some other clubs, especially in other leagues, like to just chug along and not worry about the sport as a whole, just personal interests. Which in turn, especially next season, might shock them into having to make a decision of what they want their future to look like. And I for one, am all for it. A shake up is needed, with some riders as well, not just the clubs.

This has a different feel with Wroclaw involved. Forward thinking promoters, especially the Facennas at Glasgow for example, will want in on this. This won’t stop here. And I can see other Polish clubs wanting in too and they won’t be doing this for it to be a failure. PS Mr Coleman if you read this one, good luck 🤞🏻 we have a real good captain at the helm it appears! Yes, I have just watched his presentation on Facebook and quite honestly I thought it was excellent. He mentioned for my mind the most important thing about the oldest ever rider demographic in the Premiership. This is the most serious issue I believe facing British Speedway. Thinking logically, and forgot what promoters think for a minute. We have slowly been eliminating our rider base since 2003. Before long we'll have no boys to play with the toys and as Richard Coleman said we cannot have another close season like the last one. Let's hope he can sprinkle some magic dust on the BSPL meeting!
