Will be interesting to see if he can handle the main birth of the team. Call me cynical, I'm thinking this will be a short term signing as I'm convinced Sheffield will take advantage of his 25% reduction. Come first set of greensheets, they'll look for a 6.00+ rider. Can't see it personally. Made Owlerton his own last season, think at 2 he'll still prove to be a real trump card at home. On the road may be a different story.

There needs to be some protection in place to cover this situation If a change is made it should be the reduced average that is available

Tell us all why fans shouldn't be cynical about British Speedway?? Ya know, the British Speedway that has constant track closures, supporters not returning year on year, excessive admission increases for a weak product. A league that, as of right now, has 4 teams. I await the answer to what the whole of the British public is missing out on!?!

Pretty much a heatleader figure for most teams next season. If you was the Sheffield management, you'd have to be bonkers not to take advantage, would you not?? While it wasn't an immediate change, kinda goes against the ethos of the RS system.
Cue Ball
Jack has won the first round of the Australian championship - but probably to be expected given all the main competition has pulled out/not competing

Regardless good to him back and confirmed as round Owlerton he is certainly great to watch - at least I will get to see Speedway in Sheffield in 2026 just need Ipswich to confirm now!

YeOldPitGate
Its a shame Austrailia don't have a really strong fourth rider in his prime like Fricke, Holder and Kurtz with Doyle at reserve if they had one more top line rider they could probably give the poles a run in the world team cup next time round.
