A hammering over 30 races.

Still an extra 2 matches though, just as finishing 4th would've been.

Mind you Poole were big favourites last year when Redcar won the BSN series

The Scunthorpe rejects lost that meeting for Redcar at Glasgow tonight. Replacing Jenkins with Lambert is surely the worst decision in the history of Redcar speedway!

Beat me to it the Redcar management have to full responsibility for completely derailing Redcars season.

Lost count of how many times the Bears have looked comfortable for a win only to collapse towards the end. Allen, Edwards, Mulford just too inconsistent and Lambert a total non contributor again.

Scott has to be ‘ Bear of the year ‘ and Pijper has had a good season, keep them and Wright but move the others on for 2027.

Agree. Keep Wright, Scott and Pijper. Chase the rest!

Unfortunately for the Bears, due to a lack of heat leaders, they will always be vulnerable away from home. Six-point lead with four heat to go, and to get beat by six is pretty dismal, but to be fair, The two young lads, Scott and Pijper did you proud. Lambert, less said the better!

Yes as I suspected that’s the final nail in Redcars season , the match kind of portrayed the whole season lack of top end strength at the business end of the season , a team full of middle order riders prepared to plod on. Like some of these posts I agree that the only two riders exempt are wright and Scott , wright whose season was destroyed in the first meet (stop this stupid curtain raiser with Newcastle, they don’t exist ) and Scott the only rider to show any improvement from last season , the no two 8 point rider rule screwed us over and  we seemed to be the only side to suffer but nevertheless Jake Allan has been a very very poor substitute for Danny king.
Apart from a total collapse at Berwick at least we have a BSN final to look forward to but if it’s Poole ( the competition has dragged on that long ) I don’t fancy our chances. Hey ho the footy season starts tomorrow, perhaps my other team ‘The Boro’ can do us proud and bring the region the success it so richly deserves. Lick your wounds Redcar and be more creative with team building next year instead of the same same old , it’s not working or improving. Take a punt like Scunthorpe did.

Glasgow helped you out massively by preparing a ridiculously deep track to try and unsettle Redcar, only for it to have the opposite effect. When the track came good after ht10 so did Glasgow.

I don't see Jenkins making any material difference to the scoreline had he been there.

Jody Scott is always great to watch. I enjoyed seeing him tonight and was very pleased to see him win heat one.

He was the only away rider to knock a point off Bomber tonight and he did it by passing him twice.

With so much attention on Cairns and Rushen, I really don’t think he gets the praise he’s due.

Glasgow had to drop Dan Thompson and spread the points across two 5.00 middle orders riders which hasn't worked.

The Glasgow track was prepared almost exactly the same as last Friday, which also resulted in a big track grade after heat 4, scraping shale off on to the mini track. Glasgow have been preparing deeper tracks at the request of the Tigers riders, but the last 2 weeks have seen riders from both teams struggle to turn their bikes in the early heats, hence the remedial work after heat 4 (I'm not an expert on track prep so I'm not even going to suggest what went wrong).

What I can say though is the track prep had nothing to do with Redcar being in town.

Maybe because he struggles at PL level but great in the Championship.

Jenkins would have scored more than Lambert so would have made a difference. Silly statement.
